I have to say I am very happy staying here. We are one of the many families that had to evacuate because of hurricane Matthew and we have a lot of animals. You guys not only took us in but you also moved us to a different room because our first room smelled like mildew. But you did it without even questioning it. Thank you for helping us when we needed a place to go to get our family, fur babies and all in a safe place. If we ever come up this way again we will definitely stay here. ❤️
There are cheaper hotels with friendlier staff within the vicinity. Best Western was great. Issues on behalf of hotel staff cannot be reconciled in any way due to awful ownership and management. To avoid any and all headache, it's highly recommended to explore all other options.
My husband and I love to stay here. It is our home away from home. We have always had the friendliest and most helpful service from the employees. The rooms are always clean and the location is great for shopping and dining. We have stayed here many times over several years. We are always happy with our visit!
STAY AWAY!- FRAUDULENT CREDIT CARD CHARGES!
The Comfort Inn- Asheville Airport I-26, Exit #40 at 15 Rockwood Road Fletcher, NC 28732 made 3 separate fraudulent charges to my credit card, one for $134.09, $88.28, $88.28 . Initially, I called the hotel on 12/30/16 @ 10:32pm and Spoke with an employee named Beverly. I needed a hotel room from 12/32/16-1/2/17 and I preferred a King bed. She stated that the availibility was for 2 double beds for a rate of about $130 a night, no kings available. I gave her my credit card information and acknowledged that I would like to book the room. She made a deterring statement that, "Once you book the room, your card in ran and there's no refund." This comment seemed unprofessional and not conducive of any level of good proper customer service and it wasn't the type of room I wanted. I immediately asked Beverly to not run my card and that I did not want to continue with the reservation and that I would like to call other hotels so that I could find what I wanted. I asked her again if she ran my card, and she replied that she did not. There was no confirmation number given for a reservation or a cancelation because based on my directives, no reservation was ever made.
I found a room at an alternative hotel, for a cheaper price and choose to stay there. On the morning of 1/1/17 I noticed a difference in my bank account and after logging in to my bank account, I saw that my card was ran for 3 separate transactions in which I never acknowledged from the hotel. I immediately called the Comfort Inn and spoke to a girl who stated, "Oh you're the no-show from last night" I stated that I shouldn't be considered a no-show since I never officially made a reservation. She then went on the be unprofessional and state that she was to get off work in about 30 (which is of no concern to me) and that management might show up that day about 10, 11, or 12. She was able to confirm to me that Beverly is the individual that ran my card. I called the hotel back later and spoke with Diane, I asked Diane when management would be available and she stated that the manager named Urmish was at home and that she just spoke with him but was unsure if he would be coming in to work that day. At this point I felt that I was getting the run-around and was not getting any sort of straight answer. I choose to drive to the hotel since I was close. Diane at the customer service desk and I stated that I needed to speak to management, she rudely replied, "You must be Courtney." I acknowledged and asked when a manager would be in again and stated my case again and reiterated how important it was that I speak to a manager today. Diane walked to a room that was next to the front desk and while I couldn't see into this room, I was able to hear Diane speaking to a person with a male voice who stated, "Tell her I'm not here." I can only assume that the individual she was speaking to was Urmish the supposed manager. Diane stated that they were "Waiting on management" but she was unable to tell me when this would be, or when a manager would contact me.
I did go to a local police station to file a police report against fraudulent charges being made against my card and account without my permission.
After the police called the hotel, I quickly received a call from Cathy who claimed she was a manger and she state that she would refund the 2 charges for $88.28 but not for the charge of $134.09. I asked why she would refund some but not all, and I was never given an answer when asked what the two $88.28 charges were for. She stated that, "You can call corporate and complain but they will send you an apology letter and no refund, trust me I've done this many times."
I have yet to receive any refund of any sort even though I was told I would receive refund for 2 of the 3 charges.
I have never been so appalled at the disgusting behavior that all of the staff of the Comfort Inn in their complete lack of any level of professionalism and the complete disregard they gave to me as a potential customer. I left the hotel feeling so defeated in that I was stolen from, and in fact I was. This particular location stole money from my account and purposely went against what I voiced to take place. I would hope that this is not a common act from this company. To anyone considering this hotel, please due yourself a favor and look for other options. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else.
The inn was ok. I left a iPhone charger in my room. Staff confirmed that they had it and would send it to my home address. They never did. Very disappointed.
