The security point is over doing it with patting you down and touching you too much. SFO is a bigger airport and they don’t do that extra touching 😡

Rude employees. No TSA pre-check. Let the person in front of me go ahead of me for no reason when we are on the same flight. Rental return area is a complete joke. There's terrible signage throughout the airport. At least the bathrooms are clean.

Worst airport experience of my life and I've travelled all over the US and Europe. It was impossible to even find anyone to talk to after they lost my bags. There was no one at the counter and I stood there for over 30min waiting without help.

I was employed at the Columbus airport with avis car rental. The airport is conveniently located,has fantastic flight options as well as 5 great rental car company's to choose from. It's like a well organized city ran by a great group of people..i highly suggest fly CSG

I fly all over the world on a regular basis. This airport is the only airport that has plane issues and instead of getting you to where you need to be they tell you that the next flight is 4 hours away. I was flying on a one way to Atlanta for an experimental cancer treatment. My flight was to leave at 1124am. At 1140 we were notified that the plane had a flat tire and the next flight would be at 252pm. I was so devastated because my treatment was to start at 145pm. They then told us that a shuttle would take all passengers would be taken to Atlanta. The shuttles arrived at 1230. The baggage check employees were nice but the staff upstairs were very rude and didn't care at all about me or the other individuals that were missing their connecting flights due to a flat tire. I then went downstairs to rent a car to make it to my treatment. I was willing to pay anything to get my a treatment but we were told that we couldn't rent with debit cards. Airports rental car companies always prioritize flyers by allowing them to rent with debit cards unless you were a customer that just came to the airport to rent a car without flying. I couldn't believe we just wasn't accommodated at all. There are hundreds of small airports and I have never experienced on like this one. When you have flown international and domestic for 10 years on a regular basis, this airport would be unacceptable because I have experienced them all but this is by far the worst. If you are going to own an airport it will help if you spend a little extra money to insure a back up plane as well as pilots in the event of a delay. That's how customers become frequent flyers.

For general aviation Columbus Airport is a great place. As a student pilot it is an easy airport to fly out of and get hours and the workers at the FBO (Flightways Columbus) are a nice group of people. As for the terminal I've only flown out of Columbus once, so i can only speak from my one experience. The TSA lines are short which makes for a quick and easy process but Columbus only offers flights to ATL. Overall Columbus, GA has a nice airport for its size.
