The hotel was very clean. The room was small but the hotel made good use out of the available room space. A few parties were going on that night, but it is on a college campus was... no complaints.

I liked this place. It was very good. Nice staff. It is located right near Maryland University, and DC. The only thing was that I could not figure out how to plug another HDMI into the TV. The TV was mounted on the wall, so I could not plug it in. In the end, this hotel was very good.

As a seasoned event planner in the DC Area for more than 23 years, I am VERY disappointed in the service that I received from the sales team during the process of the clients event. They are rude and most times unresponsive. The AV tech on site is also rude, and told us 4 minutes before the start of the event for 120 people that we couldn't use the sound for certain things when we had been setting up for almost 2 hours prior. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the on-site event manager Jennifer saved the day and the catering staff were very nice and pleasant. However, I would NOT suggest anyone having an event here!!!

Attended a conference/expo here. Water glasses and pitchers of water were abundant and always refilled. Used glasses were frequently taken away. There is a little cafe available right next to the meeting rooms for food. The rooms were a comfortable temperature, and sound proofed well.

Great place to have Conference or any type of event. They have enough parking space for events and the place is just spacious and clean. The staff very helpful. There is Starbucks coffee shop right within the same building so you do not have to go out to get cup of tea or coffee.

I attended for a college information night and was very satisfied with service provided. They had complimentary water set out which was perfect for quenching my thirst, and they had plenty of seats available to ensure there was more than enough space for everyone in attendance. I highly recommend this venue for events and conferences in the future.

I love the spacious rooms. Only issue is that they never get restocked properly. This time, we didn't have shampoo when we arrived and had to ask for some. Then we didn't get our coffee or cotton swabs and cotton balls refilled when the room was cleaned and I had to ask for it. Staff is always very friendly and the service in the Common has GREATLY improved over the 4 years (and especially this time) since we've been frequent guests.

Clean hotel on the edge of MU campus. Rooms are on the small size but clean and modern. The bar and restaurant are top quality. Nice staff. A little isolated and traffic in the area can be a little tricky

Place is a nice size, clean, as well as great for events because there are a lot of places in the hotel you can use to do an event. The service though... could be much better. Not terrible... just lacking in some areas.

The room was clean, well-appointed, and quiet. The staff was courteous, I cannot say enough positive words about the Courtesy Van driver Lawrence. He drove me to the UMD campus and, to my delight and surprise, he saw me walking back to the hotel and stopped to pick me up! I am definitely looking forward to staying here again.

Service: meh Conference room: pretty spacious, good for a medium sized gathering. Bathrooms: I feel like I shouldn't be relating a school bathroom to a hotel bathroom, but I guess that's more the fault of the users than the custodians.
