  When I 1 st.started attending , I didn't hardly know anyone & it didn't take long to get to know people as I kept going . Cokesbury UMC is a friendly church to belong to .

  My boyfriend and I have attended several churches in Pensacola, but none were nearly as friendly, loving, or welcoming as Cokesbury. We immediately fell in love with Reverend Gina's beautiful singing voice (9:20 service) and Pastor Paul's heartwarming sermons. His sermons always seemed to touch my soul and pertain to my current life's circumstances. Cokesbury members are always kind as well. People always go out of their way to greet us, give us hugs, ask us how our week is going, and just make us feel welcome! We have attended small groups on Wednesdays with Reverend Ashley (love her!) as well and they have always expanded on our faith and made us feel even more connected to the church.

  I love Cokesbury Church and have felt at home from the first day i entered the doors. I enjoy the friendliness and warmth as well as the comfortable atmosphere. Being a volunteer at Cokesbury has given me an opportunity to grow, serve Christ and love the people. I do miss the electronic marquee.

  Cokesbury is an incredible congregation of welcoming people who love God, love one another, and love their community and world. The people of this congregation are always engaged in service, they seek out opportunities to grow in their faith, and they have a generous and open spirit. What a joy it is to serve here!
