Best training facility around. All of the classes are great but force on force is essential to see how you would react under some stress.

Rude staff number one. I paid for a part that was supposed to be three weeks wait. Been over a month and found out today that it has been sitting in the back for over a week because no ones checked it in yet. Unacceptable in that department.
Only reason it gets two stars and not zero is because the range allows rapid fire and quick follow up shotsresponse / report this review -

Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. Al and his team are top notch! I have taken many classes there over the years and always found them informative and well taught. Safety is paramount there. Range is clean. My top place to shoot. I have been going there for years and will continue to do so. Keep up the great work. I highly recommend Close Quarter Tactical!

Had to edit review as they have a dangerous new policy! If you wear glasses DO NOT go to this range the make you wear an additional pair over your which are excessively bulky and push the ear protection off of your ears. This can cause permanent hearing damage very quickly this range is not friendly to glasses wearers they do not want your buisness!

I often visit this rang out of convenience. Today two friends and I visited the range for an early morning shoot. As a LEO, I am often asked my opinion in reference to firearms related topics. During our visit today, a staff member overheard a conversation my friends and I were having about different holsters and asked me if I was there giving private lessons. I told him no. He proceeded to accuse me three more times of giving private lessons and told me I could be kicked out for doing so. My friends and I reiterated to him that there were no private lessons going and he became very sarcastic and unprofessional. This is not the first time that I have seen the staff treat their customers poorly. I guess that's what happenes when you have less than knowledgeable staff. I will be encouraging all of my LEO friends to find another range as well.

I came in to trade my Glock 35 gen3 for a smaller handgun. They told me they already have a surplus, no big deal, so I instead settled on a M&P Shield. The guy I was working with, Paul, was great. He helped me with the new 4473 and even gave my wife a job application (she worked at a gun store in VA) I got to 12a he told me I didn't need to fill it out because of redundancy. Cool, 15 minutes pass and an older gentleman was finishing my back round check and asked me 3 times if I answered all of the questions CORRECTLY. I said yes and he tried denying my sale for my 4473 being incomplete. I told him Paul said 12a was not required and missing a question does NOT constitute denial of sale. He starts talking to me like I'm stupid and "oh no he wouldn't tell you that!" Like people don't make mastakes. I would've left but I spent 45 minutes there to pick up this gun and I was starting to run late to work because they wanted to play games. I will never go back, even if I have to pay more.

Took a friend to the range to teach him to shoot. While shooting pistol he accidentally shot the bar and the target fell. We received a "Warning" from the range officer. Understandable. Then when he found out the carrier was broken he got mad and kicked us out. Very professional. Not good for new shooters. Over priced to begin with.

Great place to shoot, rent and buy!
My wife and I purchased our first pistol from CQT and are both signed up for the CCW course. My wife is also signed up for the female self defense course which was highly recommended by a friend.
Understandably, there are some negative posts below as in any rating thread where anyone can hop on and vent, but I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience here. We're happy with the level of service and the products offered and will continue to be loyal customers.response / report this review -

In my experiences those who work at a gun shop/range can tend to be rude. It's fine. I get it. They deal with inept gun enthusiasts whom inadvertently point guns at them all day. This place however, has some of the rudest staff I have ever dealt with. I will not be back. It's unfortunate too, because my dealings with those in the range was nice. The sales staff is impatient and rude.

Staff was very helpful-I had a handgun picked out which I did end up ordering through them, but while deciding the staff was patient and answered all my questions. It took a little longer to get as they were behind on some paperwork, and the range is not well lit hence the 4 stars. But it is a nice facility and convenient so will be going there again
