I had Three huge dinner plate size pancakes with butter, maple syrup, and a cup of hot coffee. My sister had a big bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich with extra bacon. The coffee was stronger then I like but just added extra cream. It was still a nice breakfast.
Recently, I ordered steak and eggs it came with several choices of sides, I chose grits and a biscuit. The steak was not of high quality or flavor and rarer than ordered. Cooked at too high a heat? The sides of the meat were still bloody. The eggs were a tad under done, also. This place has always impressed me as a textbook example of a 24 hour "Greasy Spoon."
Stopped by today for breakfast food was good, service was very good. Looks a little rundown (outdated) but, clean. Would definitely go back again....
Love the food here. It's a good old fashioned greasy spoon. The food is good, prices are affordable and service is qiick.
Love this place. I'm from South Florida, and dined at there clock restaurant there. I am one of those people that enjoy breakfast at any hour. Convenient hours and location.Touch down breakfast is my favorite!! 😊
Over the past year or so been there at all different days times. Lunch time best. People nice.
We normally love the Clock restaurant. Today was different. We waited close to and hour for our order and there were items left off that never made it to our table even after telling the wait staff. The food was cold and not up to par. Get it together Clock or you're going to loose business.
I go there mostly for breakfast; however, I have had lunch and dinner there and it has always been very tasty. The customer service is wonderful. I called my order in because I was running late for work this morning and wanted breakfast and asked for a bowl of fruit. When I asked what was in the mixed fruit, the lady on the phone told me and in conversation I said that I didn't care much for the strawberries, but ok - I would like the mixed fruit anyway. Most places would give you a bowl of fruit just the way they served it. This lady (and unfortunately I did not get her name) made sure there were not any strawberries in the bowl). A huge THANK YOU. That's CUSTOMER SERVICE!
My only gripe is that when I get my food to go they use Styrofoam containers and the food is so hot it tends to melt. I would like to see them use either another product or put a piece of foil or something inside the try to help with that. Otherwise, the food is delicious, the service is wonderful, and the prices are just right. I couldn't ask for anything more. Oh yeah, and they give Veteran discounts with proof.
The staff was friendly, but not working very hard.
I sat down in a booth and could feel each individual busted spring in the seat. The place is run down.
Then, I ordered the meatloaf with gravy. It was terrible. Not as in cooked poorly but as in the recipe needed to be thrown out. The gravy was tangy and the meatloaf was lumpy...don't ask me how meatloaf can be lumpy.
Will not be back, recommend you don't bother.
Diner cheeseburger with fries with quick service togo.
Paul Bunyan breakfast - three eggs three bacon three sausage links hashbrowns with sausage biscuits and gravy - for under ten bucks. Very friendly service. My go-to breakfast-anytime place for years. Service can be slow if you catch them at a busier time, or an extremely slow time when the kitchen's not hoppin'. This place is timeless though. Will return forever if they stay consistent with food quality and friendliness.
Okay food but high prices and friendly staff
Food is great but you have to reminding the waiter and waitress to bring what you ordered and ask for.
I don't know what happened. In last month it's not the same. I used to give it five stars. Now it's not a place I want to eat anymore. The staff is not polite. They act like you bother them when ordering. Sad :(
