I love this place. I go here pretty often and the manager (Ben I think) is amazing. They watched my three Leos for over two weeks and took great care of them. Their pets are well cared for and the staff is phenomenal. I love this shop and their old, trusty, and always colorful cat. He's the mascot of the shop. Everyone in town knows him. 11/10 amazing place.

We stop by weekly to load up on "super worms" (Zophobos morio?) for our leopard gecko. Staff are always friendly, and we've come to get to know them. Aquarium selection is great, we've got several fish and have had no unusual outcomes. Prices on lights can be a bit high, but it's worth the extra $ to help out a local shop. The staff are knowledgeable about a wide variety of critters.

If you're in the area, stop in - it's the closest thing to a public aquarium you'll find in SE Kansas.

This is by far the best pet store I've ever been to. When you walk In you are greeted by a friendly knowledgeable small group of people. The first thing I noticed was the smell, or lack thereof. It certainly did not smell like a pet store, it smelled fresh and clean. The pets are the best cared for I've ever seen, tanks are clean and critters are healthy.
The resident cat is awesome, biggest cat I've ever seen.
I was looking forward to sharing this place because I was so impressed with it. I'll never go to another dirty poorly cared for pet store again, this place is worth a drive.

Horrible selection. Actually worse staff that ignore you when you're clearly seeking their help. I had to drive to Joplin simply to find someone that could answer my question- of course at a DIFFERENT store, because this one isn't worth your time my friends.
