Nice clean rooms. No continental breakfast not even coffee. You have to wait for the restaurant to open at their leisure to get a $20 breakfast.

we had our 50 year class reunion at the Clarion and Tammy sharp and Ray Smith and Jesse was absolutely wonderful. They made sure we had a great time and that made sure that everything went off without a hitch. Amazing staff also

To the previous reviewers I would say come see it again. There has been many updates to the facility. The rooms for the most part are very nice. I have stayed at many hotels and this by far is one of the very nicest I've ever seen. You could film a movie here it's that nice. The have gone to great expense and detail to make this place look very nice. Everything from the pool area to even the hallways and elevators are well detailed. Very impressed. This is the kind of place to plan a fancy event or to impress someone. The have many things to offer. It's a lakeside resort really with mini golf, waterpark, ect.. the restaurant was really nice too. I don't usually write many reviews but this demanded it.

To go there to sleep it was fine, but to do anything else it wasn't that accomodating. For example we didn't have a microwave in our room so we wouldn't have been able to heat up any food. Bed was comfortable and water was hot. Maybe renovating the exterior would make it more inviting. The stairs felt a little off when walking up and down them, and our room didn't have a vent in the bathroom. Didn't hate it though.

Excellent customer service! They go out of their way to help in any way they can. I had a time sensitive fax to send and they went so far as to purchase a receipt book, as they went to the store for me since I was from out of town and didn't have a car. Really awesome customer service. They treat you very kindly, and I strongly recommend a visit here.

Good location nice staff. This place could make a ton of money if they just invest a little money. Have better prepared food at breakfast buffet and also have dinner buffet. Hotel needs ventilation in the hall's. Fix entrace doors and patio doors. Remodel room's a bit and it would be great mid priced hotel. It served purpose though.

The check in was slow, the hotel was difficult to get to, the building entrance recommended to us had at least eight stairs to get to the building, but there was no elevator there. The hallway smelled like urine. The hotel room was clean, but the bathroom had mold in the shower and several places. There was a group that offered us fireworks, and we reported to the front desk. The group ended up setting off fireworks at about 1 in the morning. The bed was okay, but not extremely comfortable. The bed pillows were the size of throw pillows. The neighborhood did not appear to be the safest, but we did not feel in any personal danger while we were staying there. If this had been an overnight for work conference, it would have been okay. We went as a couple and regretted staying there. We will not visit again.

The hotel is easily accessible from the highway and in a generally good location. There are several waterfront restaurants and pubs close by. The staff was pleasant and helpful overall. The rooms were not the best. One of our rooms had issues with the AC unit, leaking water all over the floor, and we had to swap that one to another. The bathrooms were where we had some issues. They really showed the age of the hotel. No exhaust fans, showers were small and had obviously been repaired many times. All of our rooms were clean and overall maintained, just older. There was a restaurant on site that looked nice, though we didn't eat there, and a bar and lounge that was nice with reasonably priced libations. There are 2 pools on site, one indoor and one outdoors. Both were well maintained and had a comfortable atmosphere. Overall the facilities were nice, just a little older.

This hotel was not good. I will not recommend it to anyone. The check in took forever. The internet didn't work. The layout of the hotel makes it extremely unfriendly to navigate. We had to carry big heavy suitcases a terribly long way from the parking lot to get to an elevator. The staff was not helpful when I asked for help. The TV in our room wasn't working correctly-- I called the front desk for help and they pushed the problem on to me to try and figure it out myself. I never could. Overall this is not a good hotel.

Indoor clean pool. Nice lounge, but extremely high prices. Room service from their wonderful restaurant. Very nice professional employees. If you forget anything they have a lot of it they'll give to you at no extra cost. Good place for family get togethers or conventions
