In chapel today, Preacher Mark talked about upcoming graduations and how when we start something new or go somewhere new, we may be scared. He reminded us that God is with us always- no matter where we go to school, no matter profession we grow up to be....NO MATTER WHAT!

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

In chapel today, Mr. Travis reminded us that when we have storms in our life that Jesus is with us! He is our comfort and we do not need to fear. Just like the night light Mr. Travis showed us can be a light in the dark, Jesus is the light in the darkest times of our life!

Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?

We had so much fun celebrating breakfast with the Easter Bunny and a trip to Mr. McGregor’s garden to visit Peter Rabbit, pick a special carrot from his garden and other fun activities!

We also enjoyed time remembering the true meaning of Easter- He is Risen!

John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him .

In chapel today, Mr. Chris talked about Easter and that this Sunday is Palm Sunday! He even reenacted the donkey going through the street with Jesus and the people fanning him, shouting “Hosanna!” We learned that “Hosanna” means “save me.” How wonderful to know that we serve a God who loved us so much that he sent his son to die on the cross and save us from our sins!

    John 3:16

In chapel today Mr. Travis talked to us about getting angry and he used balloons to show how when we get angry (the green balloon held over the candle) we explode (the balloon pops). He also showed how when we are filled with Jesus and the fruits of the spirit, we won’t explode or lose our witness (the yellow balloon filled with water did not pop over the candle).

Galatians 5:22-23 New International Version (NIV)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

In chapel today, Mr. Travis talked to us about making decisions. We shouldn’t base a decision on flipping a coin or playing Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe. We should pray about every decision we make! In Matthew 7:7 it says “For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” We all need to seek Jesus in the decisions we make in our life!
