The Department of Metropolitan Development’s purpose is to encourage, stimulate, and participate in community development, economic growth, neighborhood stabilization, and district revitalization within the City of Indianapolis - Marion County. DMD's Facebook page is a tool intended to showcase the department’s purpose by engaging the general public with news and updates on related projects, services, and achievements.



Comments are allowed on this page, including comments that oppose the City department’s views and priorities. However, specific guidelines are in place to promote a more productive dialogue and the appropriate use of this page.
