Beware of this toxic, high-control group and its FRONT GROUPS, such as Criminon, Narconon(google NARCONON DEATHS), Youth For Human Rights, CCHR(Citizens Commission On Human Rights), Volunteer Ministers, etc. The best indictment of scientology's ESSENTIAL,CORE, INTENTIONAL, mendacity, insanity, and cultish violence is found in its own writings: its books, policy letters, technical bulletins, etc. The true scientology agenda is easily sussed out. Do your homework on this cult-it's a simple task to conduct the research.
Here, read a small sample of the official scientology policy/stance regarding governments and government investigations(this includes any branch of government, e.g. law enforcement):

It's a cult, period. Never mind the shiny books and shiny smiles and the fake personality test and the pseudo-science/woo of the e-meterDo your homework, research the history of this corporation masquerading as a religion, and stay away from its toxic policies and practices.

As someone that has always been a devoted Christian I was weary about taking a tour of this place, but the people here are very helpful and we're not pushing the religion on me. I didn't end up joining but would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a new religion.

It was amazing they gave me a tour and let me watch a movie. I'm totally hooked I love this place! They help me cope with my herpes after I had the amazing artichoke dip at applebees.

Hey,I took a course here on how to really study and learn: found out there are 3 barriers to study. Now that I know how to deal with them, learning things is so much easier for me. For the last few weeks I'm taking some courses on finance: like "Overoming Finanial Stress" and "Tools for Financial Security" and now "Principles of Prosperity", and they are REALLY good! This is information a person would know if they ran a business and I am getting it without going to business school for just a few bucks a course!! It;s already improved my way of budgeting and approaching work and my relationship with my employer--how to be a valuable employee, not just show up and get a paycheck every month. I can't wait to do other courses to find out how to better manage my time and even improve a marriage, So all this is really helping me--I mean really--my life is far better for it!!!

The tour was interesting, but the teachings are just odd. I mean, you know you're in for a trip when the author's name is larger than the titles of their books. They were reminiscent of outdated Freudian psychology and really don't seem beneficial. The staff are friendly and nice tho.
