We were a party of 6. The server was good, however she used the "f" word at our table while explaining her double shift to us. Nice girl, though. Anyway we ordered Sri is and an appy and later places our good order. The food coming out was slow. In fact, 3 in our party were served but the remaining 3 did not get served until 20 minutes later. In fact, other tables were served before the remaining 3 at our table were served and the server said they must have somehow jumped in front of us. We asked to be compensated for the wait and didn't receive as much as a dollar off our bill. In fact, the server gave us some song and dance about how only 3 orders are prepared at a time because there are no warming lamps in the kitchen. Really? We're not stupid. There were parties larger than ours and they all received their food at the same time. The server just should have admitted she forgot to key in the other 3 orders as that is what we assume happened. The poor food service, although the food was pretty hood, spoiled the ecperience.

Good food but service was poor. Server was nice but how slow service was and how forgetful the server was the entire time was inexcusable, especially during a very slow time of the day. I would try try them again maybe on a different day

Love going here on Sunday's. Half price wings that taste better than Buffalo Wild Wings. Buckets of beer at a cheap price and plenty of flat screens to watch every game on. Huge beer selection

I've only been here once but the food was really good, the service was awesome, and it was a relaxed place to have a casual dinner.

We will definitely go back.

Go elsewhere! Came here for years in college and loved it! Came back for dinner and beers for homecoming, and they wouldn't change a tv for a game? The ND/MSU game was on 11/12 tvs within viewing distance of our table with multiple primetime games on. I asked and they said the owner had a preset list for tvs for the night and they were not allowed to change themServer told us many customers turned and left when they heard thisjust mind boggling from a sports bar and a place that prides themselves on customer service. This is not ND or MSUOh and no Zombie Dust or Gumbball Head on Homecoming weekend? Just icing on the cake!

Good atmosphere and service! I frequent here and sometimes you find service that could use improvement but that's uncommon. I like their winds, pretzels, nachos, and burgers, and "chumbalaya."

Love the extensive beer selection here. Food is all really great too with many more options than the average "pub food." Service can be a bit slow though.

Great atmosphere. Can carry a conversation. More relaxed than most bars. Good variety of decent food (Nachos, pizza, burgers, chili) and 50 beers on tap.

Great bar food, schooner night will give you a lot of alcohol for a very small fee if you are interested. Several types of burgers to choose from, definitely a great place for returners to keep sampling the burger choices.

I can't knock the burgers. They're pretty damn nice. Meanwhile, the unrelenting stream of Fox News and CNN further depresses me every time I go in. I wish all the TVs were just on sports, and I don't even like sports. But I did see this festering wall of detritus in the men's room. Which really brought the whole vibe of the place to a head.

Honestly, this is a place the people bring business contacts to in downtown Lafayette. It's across from our courthouse. You need to step up your game Chumley's, you aren't Peppers 2.
