Checkmate has good food. The price is a little high but the last two times I ordered from them for delivery I had a terrible experience. The first time it took two hours for the pizza to even get here and when it did the pizza looked like it was thrown around it wasn't even edible they did send another pizza but didn't give me a discount or anything. The second time the delivery driver was extremely rude. He was a older gentleman, he called and was incredibly rude on the phone, then when he got here it was even worse. I said hello to him and he basically threw the paper in my face to sign, he aggressively took the food out of the bag, one of my items almost fell, then I said thank you and just said "mhm" and walked out the door. Even though they have good food the customer service is horrible.. unfortunately will be avoiding this place from now on.

The staff is always friendly and the food is pretty good. Make sure you order delivery when you can for free gummy bears! You can't get them by walking in.

We have ordered from here for several years but the last time will be the last as they are way too expensive and worth it. We ordered couple pizzas and sides and total was somehow $70 that is ridiculous!! Food is okay but def not worth those prices.

The food is good. However i think the customer service is sub par. Anytime I've ever called to place an order i get an employee who seems like they're depressed and would rather not even be taking an order. No manners. Also when ive gone in to pick something up the girl at the counter was very rude. I stood there for 5 10 mins when she was socializing Waiting to even be asked what i needed. Another employee had to come over and ask Long story short my pizza was ready before i arrived.. I was standing there for 10 minutes waiting for my already done pizza.

Stay far away from Checkmate Pizza in Londonderry. My girlfriend and I are new to Londonderry so we figured to give Checkmate a try. She had chicken tenders and fries and I had an Italian sub and buffalo wings. The next morning we both woke up extremely sick, throwing upetc. My girlfriend ended up having to go UrgentCare and they diagnosed her with food poisoning. I called this location to tell the manager what happened and he proceeded to tel me that the chicken may have been undercooked. Anyways, the manager was not willing to give us a refund. Stay far away from Checkmate as they also did not do the right thing by refunding us. We will forever tell locals to stay away from this place.

ordered pastami, roastbeef and kings favorite subs, pastami was burnt, only ony piece of roastbeef in roastbeef sub and kings favorite had no roast beef 1 pice of turkey and 2 pies of ham on a 14" sub. there was bacon on it but old and brittle. very dissapointed, no meat. will not order again and would strongly discourage any one from ordering from here.

Very displeased with the service at this location. Delivery takes over an hour and the food is cold every time. They do not provide plates or utensils either. If I am paying 30 dollars for ONE large pizza, I expect it to be hot and to have plates to eat off of. I will never order from here again.

Probably the best pizza in Londonderry. Decently priced and offer a variety of toppings. They also offer giant pizzas, which can be useful if you're having a party. My only complaint is every once in a while they don't chop up the veggies enough.

Pizza came 50 minutes after ordering and cost $22 for a large Hawaii. $25 with tip for a pizza!!! It was so soggy we couldn't pick up a slice without it falling apart. I called to complain and informed them I don't want to wait another 45minutes for a new one so I put it in the oven. I was offered a credit but declined and asked for a refund. I was told I will get the refund if we give them back the pizza. Waiting for them to pick it up now and will never order from them again.
