Great spot! The atmosphere is amazing. The crowd is very diverse: all different ages, body types etc. The drinks are priced reasonably, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The washrooms are clean.
We were there for a drag show, and gurl do those queens engage the audience. Every single one of the queens slayed it! Would definitely go back!response / report this review -

We had a great experience. I'm from Denver CO and dont know if the two bars are by the same owner, but i, and group I was with, had a blast. Great service and great entertainment

Racist!!!!! Don't go! They discriminated four of us. We compliant to the manager and he said: We are trying to fix the problem but it seems you are the problem. We have never had a problem here but this time this "straight guy" playing pool made a racist comment to us for being gay (in a gay club) and charlie' s manager literally kicked us out because we were the problem. We were regulars here and all of a sudden we get kicked out. It's sad that even your own people will give you the back. To bad for charlies being a gay club we would expect some support specially during this days of crime and racism. :(

It was good expect. My finger started bleeding bc of a chair and there wasn't any soap in the mens bathroom. I wanted to wash my hands and I could not even ask someone to refill that. Unsanitary.

Was here on a one Saturday night. Thought I come here and just hangout and be somewhere I'm comfortable and proud. Had a issue going to use the bathroom . They had a sign up that says "Ladies Only" on the ("Gals Restroom" ), our own community are fighting right now for us to go into restroom we feel comfortable in. And here I was stop by a employee and a sign that' says I can't go in! Here we are fighting for rights & equality and to be confronted by my own community hurts. I never or thought I would have a issue like this especially in a gay bar ! But since they want to be so strict on which bathroom I can go in. I'm choosing not to go in here anymore ! **Also advising everyone not to come here! I also ask the bartender Whats up with that sign and he said women or men can use the bathroom! Not what I saw! Goodbye Charlies ! Not coming here anymore what a disgrace! Btw it was empty as well on a Saturday night and I left smelling like smoke and nasty taste in my mouth.
