I ordered food thru Uber eats last night. The lobster and shrimp mac and cheese was amazing. However I ordered a snicker pie dessert which has ice cream. Now, I understand that this will melt some but my problem was that they sent it on a piece of paper in a box. They have round containers that the pie could go in. I know because they sent my fruit in the round container, but chose to put my ice cream on paper in a box.
I am a pretty reasonable person so I called to let them know how I received my dessert and the manager on duty immediately became defensive. Told me that that is how they send it, they keep it in a cooler until it gets picked up she then went on to say that if I wanted a refund I would need to contact uber. I let her know that I was not trying to get my money back, I just wanted to let you all know how my pie came and it didn't make sense to me since I see that you do have round containers. She then had an attitude and stated well thanks but I have no control over that, that's the way we do it. I was turned off by her attitude that I asked if she were the only manager which she stated she was for the night. I said ok, I'll call tomorrow. She began saying some other words, I told her she sucked and I hung up the phone.
All I was wanting was maybe a complimentary dessert when I came in or something. However after encountering this young lady, I will never frequent this establishment. This was my first and last time ever eating here.

Extremely wonderful staff! I deliver for POSTMATES and the employees here were a breath of fresh air during a bad night. Also the Wendy's was closed and McDonald's near by was NOT answering the drive thru. Guy inside just sitting on his but playing on his phone. Go to Charlie Hoppers for your food.

Coziest Brookside bar and grill, that has a huge beer menu and the best Hot Dogs in town, not to mention a delicious full menu. It's a great place to take the kids on a Saturday to watch the game Ample sports TV is great, could be better.

Went to this eastablishment on a Sunday with the intention of watching NFL games, we called ahead to make sure they had NFL ticket, they did. We arrived 2 1/2 hours prior to the games we wanted to watch, ordered lunch and drinks for all five of us and asked our waitress if the games we wanted to see would be on the TV’s we were sitting by, she said they would. An hour passed and several KU fans came in to watch a preseason game. We asked our waitress again if our game would be played, she checked with the manager and assured us our game would be played on the TV we were sitting next to. Just ten minutes prior to the start of our game, all TVs were put on the same channel, the one playing the KU game and our waitress informed us the manger had changed his mind. WHAT! What a liar! He could have just been honest from the beginning and we would have left a bit earlier and found someplace to watch NFL games. Felt sorry for the waitress, not her fault her manager is a liar. We paid our tab, left her a 20% tip and left. We will never spend another $ in this establishment.

Had the fish & chips the last 2 visits and they were excellent. Our server, Cole, did a super job for me and my family and made our lunch very enjoyable.

Saturdays are dog days and their excellent hot dogs are $1.99. Have been a customer of this fine establishment since the 1970's. A local gem. Service is always great with amplevparking in the lot behind. A++++++

I've visited today with a larger party for lunch and found it to be a nice lunch. Prices were very competitive with other places in the area, they have a great beer selection and a friendly staff. Unfortunately the waitresses make a few mistakes on our order, but they were very responsive and dance over backwards to make sure everyone was happy. I had the cajun chicken club with sweet potato tots. It was served along with some ranch dressing, and the tots were the bomb. The restrooms were quite large relative to other bars in the area, it was largely clean and decorated attractively with lots of TVs. All in all a good experience, I believe we fed nine people for $136 before tip.

NEVER GO HERE. GO TO BROOKSIDE DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM PRICE CHOPPER. WAYYYYYY BETTER......I Ordered 2 nacho plates and wings. 1 chicken and 1 beef. Meat looked 5 days old seriously and chicken was WAYYYY over cooked. Looked Like it was made for a alcoholic to sober up. Waitress had a nasty dirty hand/wrist sleeve on from a broken hand or carputunnel idk. just pathetic......I loved it back 3/4 years ago when they had a pool table in the back and all the food was good. Idk what happened to this place it just went to hell.

Food is so much better now since the new ownership. I get the Voodoo Chicken sandwich and it never fails to make me more attractive to everyone in the bar. I'll be minding my own business and women will just be lining up to ask, "Yo, dog, can I get your digits?" And I always have to disappoint and say "Can't do it, Sally" to them because I am happily married to a super fox and I can barely keep up with her.

An amazing low key experience. The food is excellent. The drinks are made well. Great place to go when you need a young yet adult atmosphere.

Beer selection and cocktails are great. The food is much better than your average bar.
Honestly compared to their other related bars(the well and Lew's) this is far and away better. The fried avocado shrimp tacos and lobster shrimp Mac n Cheese are stellar

Great beer and liquor selection for a great price. Good food. It's your neighborhood bar with everything you want. I just wish I had more time to spend here.

This place is cheap. You want a few pickle slices with your food? They charge you. You want a few sprinkles of parmesan cheese for your food? They charge you. The waitress today was so engrossed talking to the cute guy at the end of the bar that I truly believe she forgot we were even there. It took forever for her to take our order. It also took forever to get our check. Never going back.

Neighborhood bar and grill. Good menu but good help is highly shift dependent. The service and food quality vary as a result.
