For over a decade, the 2-piece indie-pop band Charlie Belle has been performing on the best stages in their hometown of Austin, Texas. Jendayi Bonds is the singer-songwriter, guitarist, and lead vocalist. Her music comes from deep within and often reflects a personal journey with upbeat melodies and relatable storytelling. Gyasi Bonds is the heartbeat and energy of the band, lending his incredible drum skills and backing vocals. For the last two years, the band has become a cohesive 4-member unit rounding out the groove that fans have come to love.The band's debut EP Get To Know hit the industry with a bang. These songs call to mind Irish alternative-pop band The Cranberries, and songstress Kate Nash. What started out as an LP, both EPs focus on stories of change, maturity, loss, and moving on.
