Not usually into " taverns ", but we stopped here on a whim--did not regret it! Not as pricey as some of the other nearby restaurants, service was great, and food was amazing!! We also enjoyed the ambience and music. Would definitely recommend and will be back next time we're in Killington.
Great food awsome staff friendly atmosphere
We went here last night after eating at some other places throughout our vacation. Quiet and homey, waiter was funny and very nice. Big selection made it hard to choose and made us wish we stopped here sooner. Best prices for the portions that we've eaten at so far! Huge stuffed eggplant and good prices on drafts. Can't wait to eat our leftovers for dinner tonight.
Excellent service by Jade and the food was out of this world. I had the tuna tar tar to start and it was fantastic. I had the sirloin steak fo my entree and it was cooked perfectly. I will go back again. Wonderful place and ambiance.
Fast friendly service. Awesome atmosphere and AMAZING food! Had the Olde Pub feel. Great family restaurant. I'm definitely going back!
I really like this place. A bit gritty but friendly with reliable food and service close to the mountain. Sports on the TV and quiet enough to talk It's my default option for casual dining.
Food was amazing. Service not so much. While I realize how busy it was, we sat over 10 minutes before the waitress even introduced herself. Even after that she made no extra effort to provide good service
this place was delicious, ribs and wings good.. burgers good to.. Good spot for lunch, considering everything else in Vermont to eat does not open till 4pm plus. I recommend. WU Tang forever.
The food was excellent! Great spot to rest after skiing.
I'll be friendly and just say... There are many better options on the access road. Nothing special about this place.
Stopped here with the family after a hike. The service was good and the food was pretty good too. I had the chili and chips (yummy - but a bit too sweet for my taste). I kind of wish there were more chips, but hey, it was a good warm up! Nice stop for a family meal in Killington.
A fun spot with a lot of character. The menu seems a little ambitious sometimes in comparison with the image of the place, but we got a burger and a cheesesteak, and they were both spot-on. Note that they serve the burgers on an English muffin, which is fine unless you don't read menus closely and aren't expecting it. $14 for a cheeseburger is a little pricey, but that's a vacation town for you nowadays. I'd go back.
We had a great time at Charity's! We sat out on the patio and I'm so glad we did. It was the perfect atmosphere. Our server was fantastic. She was so welcoming and had a great personality. She helped us pick what beer we would want(they have a bunch on tap) and was very quick in her service. She even asked the bartender what Pandora station was playing for us, because it was the perfect station for the atmosphere.
We ended up getting nachos as an appetizer. They were super tasty and I highly recommend them. I got the Charity's Burger which was your typical burger. The bacon horseradish sauce was really good on it though. My boyfriend got the Grilled Caribbean Chicken Sandwich which was really unique. The flavors were good. They were both served on an English muffin, which I liked. It switches it up from the typical bun! Overall, I would definitely order from here again and would 100% sit outside(weather permitting, of course).
