It's a nice library but It's hard to study here sometimes because it gets really overcrowded. I like going to the computers on the fifth floor because it's one of the quiet floors. However, even if it is the quiet floor there is still noise. The chairs in the 5th floor computer area make loud annoying squeaky sounds and people are always moving around in them. Occasionally you'll get the person who just talks loud without realizing that it's the quiet floor. Maybe my ears are just hypersensitive or something but I couldn't concentrate even when I was in a studying mood.
Nice place to study
I frequent visit here to use the computer, but rarely check out books. If you want to read various kinds of books, then I recommend requesting books to be sent to this branch. Otherwise, the selection are limited, but really good library with amazing staff!
I mostly go there for taking printout. Their printing quality is good. IT GUYS in the grounf floor are also very helpful.
Well maintained library! Good place to study.
Best library and too big. Good facilities.
Has 6 floors. 1st and 2nd floor is general floor. 3rd floor is again general floor and has tutoring room. 5th floor is silent study floor. There is a small place where u can get coffee, snacks etc. Printing black n white 4cents/ page. Color 16 cents/ page. You need student of to enter. If you don't have one show a govt issues id to enter.
Good Place To study. Its rather empty during the summer months. But they do have some amazing scanners.
Never enough space to accommodate students, some floors are always full. And You'll be lucky if you find a table with a Plug socket, which I guess a basic thing, everybody carries a laptop with himself. Hope you understand and work about it, I update my review If it gets better.
Apart from that, I agree it has the one of the largest book collection from I've seen before.
Best library Best place to study n do romance too. but cud remain open on the weekends
Pro's : Open 24/7 on weekdays, an absolute necessity as a serious student. Good single-unit PC's on 2nd floor. Quiet floors are essential. Library books available are enough. Printing is reasonable. Con's : Closes pretty early on Fri. Sat. and Sun. The tower and monitor PC units are hysterically slow, and all but two Mac's have been out of order for the whole year. Needs more computers on silent floors, why are there so many PC's on floors where studying is constantly interrupted by the noise? Why are we paying to print a physical receipt on every print job when there clearly exists an electronic record. Add a "Resolve a Printing Issue" option to the student interface, and stop rolling the price of a wasted print page into the cost.. or hell, keep my money and use it for something useful.
Used to be perfect, especially when it was open 24 hours on weekends. Now it is overcrowded. No point in going to the library for a quiet, calm are to study if it is packed with hoards of students. If UTA is going to expand enrollment then they need to grow the facility. Where is all that extra tuition going?
