  Just recently opened for breakfast, this Marathon institution nailed it. My husband said it was the best country fried steak he had ever had and the other breakfast offerings were also very good. Our server Janet provided excellent service. Highly recommend it.

  Great! And I travel extensively, eat out constantly. Service, service. The owner is always on hand. You can't beat that. Great food and service!!!!!!

  They accommodated our party of 14 on short notice, AND cooked our fresh-caught fish to perfection!!!! The sushi was fresh and delicious, as was the rest of the menu. They served dishes for 4 year-olds and grandparents alike to enjoy! They also have an extensive beer list on tap, including selections from regions you wouldn’t expect to find in The Keys! Our server, Alex, was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable!Over-all, I would highly recommend this gem, located on Marathon Key.

  Awesome hole in the wall restaurant. Good food and good prices. Great server while we were there. Snapper BLT was awesome and huge.

  It was okay. Pricey for slow service and food. I don't want sushi rice on my dinner plate and over cooked veggies. Seating was okay, don't sit outside as you arw on the end of the canal and it smells. They need food runners as we saw sushi just sitting for a while. Lots of complaining from server's as they we're in the weeds. Food was okay, but not worth the price. We have been coming to the Keys for a while and decided to give it a shot. Drinks we're okay.

  Well.. all I have to say totally awesome. My wife had the Lion fish, it was prepared perfectly. My grouper was amazing to say the least. Andy my server was the best. He adapted to my personality flawlessly.
  5 stars to him!!! Thank you Andy.

  The meal was worth the effort finding the place. Andy is a treasure and I wish I could receive his energy and enthusiasm from more people I encounter. The fish was cooked perfectly and the gator appetizer was delicious! Even buy salad was great, to to go.

  A true hideaway. Wine list by the glass lacked luster but sushi roll special was terrific! Dinner offerings made my mouth water. ..tuna ginger crepe was cooked perfectly. Cobria lime cilantro was good but didn't highlight the fish. Service was excellent & our server was very knowledgeable! All in all a need to visit place

  Came here with a group of around 30 for our rehearsal dinner and the whole experience was an A+. John, the owner, accommodated all of our seating and menu requests in the days leading up to the dinner and even made an appearance with his newborn son that night to thank us. The service was awesome despite us moving around a bunch, and there were no complaints about the food. The wreckdiver cobia that I had was outstanding! We'll definitely be back next time we're in Marathon (but with a much smaller group next time)!

  Consistency. The only reason for a 3. A good place but the service and food is not consistent. Great sushi when it is done right. Timely food. Various choices for every taste. Usually great entertainment. Worth a try.

  I would give it 4.5 stars but can't quite go 5. Best beer selection in Marathon. Get a hefty 5 x 7oz. flight and sample some great beets you have never tried before.

  Food was great. Unfortunately, it took an hour for us to get our entrees on a relatively slow night. Also added a side salad to kid's meal instead of fries. The small salad was a dollar less than our daughter's entire meal. Not sure I'd recommend this place unless you have a lot of time for dinner.

  If your in the area, this is a must stop and easy place! It's tucked away from the tourists but always slammed. They have sashimi lion fish which is out of this world delicious. Anything you get there is really good. Outside at night there is live music and inside is comfortable.
