I wish I could rate this school a Zero any other program is good but when you want to go in Vet Assisting program , you might as well go to Pima Medical Institute. I notice that people that went there for this major got more hands on then at Carrington. Also if you just fail just one class they except you to pay an out of pocket of of 1,000 dollars in order to get your certificate to work. Arizona State University doesn't even do that to their students. Carrington College is a rip off and don't care about their students education so they say, so anyone that goes there make sure you know what you are getting yourself into.

IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS. I WENT IN FOR V.A. PROGRAM. I HAD A TOTAL OF 4 INSTRUCTORS THROUGH THE 9 MONTHS I WAS THERE. MY FIRST INSTRUCTOR WAS AMAZING I LEARND MOST OF IT IN THE FIRST COUPLE MONTHS WITH INSTRUCTOR ALAN BUT AFTER THAT IT WAS A WAIST OF TIME. ALL WE WOULD DO WERE NOTES FOR THE FIRST HOUR AND THE LAST 3 HOURS IT WAS JUST SEATING IN A CHAIR AND WAIT UNTIL IT WAS TIME TO LEAVE NO HANDS ON AT ALL. THEY DIDNT HELP ME AT ALL TO FIND A JOB LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD. I GRADUATED ON 2015 SEPTEMBER ITS AUGUST 2017 AND I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED MY CERTIFICATE FROM GRADUATION. AT THE PRACTICE THAT I USE TO WORK VCA A.H. WAS 3 OTHER PEOPLE WHO WENT TO CARRINGTON AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVE THEIR CERTIFICATE EITHER. PLEASE DONT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL AND WAIST YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

As someone who went into the PTT(physical therapy tech) program I'm glad I went in when I did. For it seems like it was complete trash before. My instructor was Pamela When I went in she was iffy. Basically my brain was so messed up cause the first course was taught by a MA who didn't really teach us a thing! After the first course we got Pamela she is really knowledgeable when it comes to Physical Therapy. I had a OK experience there, I seen students drop some was personal but some was cause she really was strict on punctuality, and when it came to being quiz on lab. I didn't quit , for we was learning a lot on anatomy and patient exercises with her. We had a ceremony and the last one they was 0 students at my ceremony there was 9 of us. So that shows the PTT program has improved since than. Me and my buddy went on to extern and we both passed with a good grade for everything she taught us came back .Like It was TRASH before I started , but feel has improved

My daughter in law went to this school and finished last year. The instructor was awful and didn't keep his word. The directors did nothing about it no matter how many complaints he received. When making the payments the department would not apply them and she had to pay extra every semester. Just an awful experience and atmosphere. If there was a button for a strike I would give it 5 strikes no stars. 👎 👎👎👎👎

If I could give this school ZERO stars I would. I can only speak on behalf of the MA program here, but this school is a joke. Yes it is an accelaterated program, so things are very fast paced, but that doesn't make up for the lack of organization and unprofessionalism at this school. For those who may have kids, or work full time, they will tell you that you will only really need to make schedule adjustments when your externship comes up; that is a lie. You will have to some classes OUTSIDE of the normal class hours, which they will not tell you about until the day prior. Organization with some instructors is a joke, and don't even get me started on the higher up administration! The financial aid department is the worst I've ever seen in a school. To say the least, if you're interested in their Medical Assisting program, spend your 15k elsewhere.

To start, they lied to our entire class (PTT), they told us we had to go into their PTT program and that we could go thru devry for a pta program (devry doesn't have pta), they also said that carringington doesn't have a pta program (they do its in mesa). Our first teacher taught us more about himself than anything to do with our studies. He then quit out of the blue. Leaving us with "substitutes" (MA & DA, didnt know anything about our field) teachers who literally read word for word off of a slide. We watched 4 movies (I paid to watch Forrest Gump for the 2980481 time in my life). And during all of this, they switched us over to an online class without ever telling us we would have to do anything online (i wouldnt have came here if i knew it was online). They continually blatantly lied to us on countless different occasions. It wasn't til the very last semester that we were told about tutoring time. I went into my externship completely clueless as to what I was doing because of this lack of education. My entire class is starting a law suit against carrington. DO NOT GO HERE THEY DO NOT CARE FOR YOU. THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET YOU SIGNED UP N THEN YOU'RE DEAD TO THEM. I wouldn't be surprised to see devry and carrington done within the next couple years. This is a for profit college (just like itt tech) they're handing out bogus certificates. DO NOT GO HERE

I have goals of being a vet tech (animal nurse), and possibly veterinarian. I was looking online for vet tech programs and saw that carrington supposedly offered one. When I went down to the campus to talk with finacial aid, I was told by one of the administrators that they didnt actually offer a vet tech program. In fact I was told nowhere in the state of Arizona offers a vet tech program....then they tried their best efforts to talk me into the vet assistance (equivilent of a CNA) program, after I had made it clear I was not interested in that. However, not giving up on my goal I found that Pima Medical Institute offered a Vet Tech program! Very glade I didnt settle for less by going with the vet assistant at Carrington, as they clearly expressed that they really dont care about individual peoples goal, but that they just focus on filling their classrooms!

I attended Carrington for its Veterinary Assisting program. Tina Gallagly is a fantastic instructor! However, I did have some problems with my financial aid. I was currently finishing a bachelor's degree through a different school at the same time that I was attending Carrington. I was not informed ahead of time that once I completed and received my bachelor's degree that my financial aid would be cut off. So, I received my bachelor's degree and a very sudden $10,000+ debt from Carrington. If you attend here, please know that the programs are very good, but be wary of the financial aid. Make certain you have asked all pertinent questions!
