Captain Woody's can't be beat for great sea food. We have been coming to HHI for 25 years and tried them all. Both locations are outstanding. Try the fried pickles for a treat.

The food was nothing to rave about it was mediocre at best. The staff wasn't very friendly. In fact they hardly spoke. Then I got a $90 bill for lunch on a weekday. Holy cow. What a horrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone but an enemy. Feel like I got robbed. I'd give it negative starts if it were an option.

Lots of crabs to eat but kind of salty. Salad was fresh, perfect lettuce, NO yellow lettuce (which I feel is old lettuce). Waitress very sweet and helpful.

Frequented by locals. Eat inside or outside. Varied menu. Other options beside seafood. Bar inside, sports on TV. Wait staff friendly, but if using coupon make sure each check has one. Daily specials usually on appetizers. Portion size good but little on pricey side. Nice, clean restrooms.

I love the Captain Woody's in Bluffton for their decor and history and food, but we were unable take advantage of having lunch or dinner there this year, but did twice visit the location at 6 Target Road because it was worth a repeat visit. Very good food and great outdoor atmosphere. I would recommend the "he" crab soup and the shrimp white chili and the chili, but not the calamari..it was very very greasy. The salads were all excellent as were all of our entrees. A definite repeat next time. First time to visit their new location on HHI.

The inside seating reminded was themed as if you were outside. It was really cool. They were out of several items we really wanted. The shrimp was over cooked. The crab and scallops were wonderful.

Grouper melt. Crazy good. Just as importantly the wait staff was more than awesome. We had our puppy with us and our server asked if he had enough water and food. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff. Good food. Nicely plated. Mistakes made with our order. Given three different bills before adjustments were correct to order. :(

The best part was the company. All of the servers were grumpy. Sucks to work in a beach town, I suppose. I'd rather have my toes in the sand, too.

Everything we had was good. I had the "Everything" seafood platter which came with fried flounder, shrimp, scallops, oysters and clam strips. It was huge and delicious. Wife had low country broil, she loved it too. Waitress was nice. If I was forced to be critical i would say the drinks were kinda weak, but they had plenty to pick from!

Enjoyable island fare. We got the trigger fish which was the only local catch. It was enjoyable. Prices reasonable. Nice outdoor seating. We didn't get alcohol but did notice a reasonably robust bar menu and lots of happy hour specials on drinks and apps (only available at the bar, though) We also understand there is regular live music, although none while we were there.

Laid back. Good food. Good atmosphere. We always make at least one stop here when we visit Hilton Head.
