  My review is for the headboat. We went on a 10 hour "Deep Sea Fishing" today. It cost extra for the extra mileage. The ride to the first spot was just a little over 2 hours. I actually thought that it would take 3 - 3.5 hours to get the the fishing spot, because that's how long the other headboat took to get the the first spot. It's at the end of December and the fish have been moving further away from shore, so this is expected. Anyway, the target species was black sea bass. There were many dogfish. The catch ratio was about 2:1. For every two sea bass caught, someone caught a dogfish. It's hard not to compare with out headboats... But the captain on the other boat actually moved spots when dogfish was taking over.
  
  The only bait that was provided today was squid. There was one mate for the 12 of us and I think I got his help twice. Other times, I had to unhook all the spiny dogfish, untangle lines, and fetch bait myself.
  
  I am knocking points off because I've been on many other headboats and the mates took care of unhooking dogfish, untangling lines, and refilling bait.
  
  I may try to get on the headboat next year and hope to update this review with a better experience.

  Love love love this place. Staff is quite knowledgeable. Won't go anywhere else to fish. Best of the best! Elite by far above anyone else!

  Went with my family for dinner and a cruise. The staff was friendly but the food was horrible. I got the summer seafood pasta and my don got mussles both with a light sauce not to mention like warm.. Light was right tasted like water. My husband got prim rib again no flavor, even kids pasta was flavorless. Pitiful food for prices. Pasta was $30 waste of money.

  Food disgusting. If I could give a zero I would. Crabcake tasted like crackers. They tried to make cream of. Crab soup in 20 mins and when it came out it was brown.took one taste of it and almost gagged. I'm local and that was the worst cream of crab I ever tasted. It even smelled bad.

  We have been going to The ANGLER for over 10 years and love coming here every season. I love their crab cakes and they do a wonderful job with their catch-of-the-day. My husband is a celiac and we have never had a problem with the Angler being able to accommodate his diet. Staff is normally very conscientious and attentive. The quality of food very good to excellent. The45 minutes boat cruise is $3 per person after dinner and is well worth it. Several times we have seen dolphins and it's nice to see Ocean City by boat. We definitely recommend the Angler for a great dining experience!

  The receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were seated within minutes, with a high chair for my son. They even waited for my husband who was fishing on a charter boat. They allowed us to split order and didn't rush us to leave. The staff took care of all my needs. My son still requested to go there in the summer.

  I lived in OC year-round for about three years, and the Angler bar/restaurant was where we hung out.
  
  Goof food. Good people. Relaxed service, which is what we wanted.
  
  Funny to bring friends and tourists into the place and watch them down a couple Bahama Mamas and then stagger away. Kinda like watching college freshmen drain a few glasses of 'grain punch' saying "man, this stuff is gooood!"
  
  Nothing in OC is cheap, but this is where we chose to spend our money over most other places.

  My second time on this boat with this incredible staff these guys really put you on the fish everyone caught their limit I would like to express my gratitude to Chris he's the best in the business would recommend to whomever looking to have a wonderful time and Love fishing

  A hidden jem under the route 50 draw bridge. This place really gives you through the real oceanside restaurant feel. Located right off the inlet of oc you have plenty of view to enjoy. I was here during the white marlin tournament and it was awesome to watch all the boats come in.

  I went there with a group of 14, without a reservation, and still had an amazing experience. Our waiter Carl was great, the food was good and came out pretty quickly, the new bar is gorgeous and they have bar games to keep you entertained. Prices were reasonable too. You're kind of sitting under the rt 50 bridge, but you're still right on the bay. I think everyone in my group was happy and we'll definitely go back.

  A great experience! We took one of their nature cruises for a family outing and everybody had a good time. After cruising the waterway and learning about the local fishing community we went out into the open ocean off of Ocean City beach to watch a pod of dolphins.
