Staff was very friendly, but I don't think the business is set up very well. It's a cash-only business that doesn't have an ATM. We had to drive 10 minutes to the closest town to withdrawal money before our float. It does not say anything about this on the website either. The equipment that we used was subpar, even for a small rural Outfitter. Half of us got kids paddles, and a kayak didn't even have a seat in it. I picked this place because it's the closest to Kansas City, but I don't think that we'll be back.

This is a great family oriented place. My boyfriend and I love it and so does my children. The staff is super friendly and make you feel welcome like your part of the family.

I have always loved going here, however this year I'm done!!!! I reserved the cabin last year, put money on it and now I have no place to camp this weekend! The owner says the people he had running it last year took my money and he is not responsible to honor it. When I'm away from my responsibilities they r still mine and I have to honor, and tend to them!! But he doesn't!!! I have gone every year for 6 years. Their way of business is a joke and now my family and I have to stay home for the 4th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I go the Capplinger Mills every year they are very nice owners and they maintain the grounds very well. We love the cabins they are always very clean and have everything one needs. We are planing the be there within the next 2 weeks to camp again. We are doing the canoe trip and we enjoy it. Be there soon and yes we know whic to go to.
