  I purchased boots 3 weeks ago, after wearing them a few hours inside my house I felt like the boots weren't going to work for me as I have Plantar fasciitis. I brought the boots back to find out they will not credit your card back or give money back, "store credit or exchange is there policy". They didn't have the boots I would have exchanged them for so - BESURE YOU ARE 100% happy with your items before purchasing. Even if they tell you "take them home and try them"

  I have been here many times. The service is outstanding. If you ever go to the Northeast kingdom this is by far the best store in the whole area!!!!!

  I purchased a pair of felt insoles for $7.94 including tax and tried to return them to the store because they would not work with the boots that I intended to use them in. When I tried to return them, Caplans would not refund the cash for the item they said they could only issue store credit. I asked why and the clerk said "We're too small".
  This is ridiculous, I gave them cash for the item and I should receive cash back for the return. There was nothing wrong with the insoles, I merely placed them in my boots and realized there wasn't enough room for the insoles, placed them back in the packaging and returned them the next day.
  Shoppers beware, you better ask if you can return items for a refund before you purchase.
  I will never shop here again.
