I loved it. The food is really good. Even the bartender ask you at the bar if you have any allergies. Plus they even check IDs at the bar. Even if your not drinking alcohol. Which is good too. Even their brunch is good too. And it's worth the price.
Worth the wait, this gastropub has everything you want. Great beer spanning a whole variety of styles. Excellent food to go with it. Plenty of seating and a beautiful bar. A neat retro ambiance, and last but not least, outstanding service with plenty of people on duty. Prices are OK, not too high. This place is always crowded at peak times.
Awesome place. Great beer and even better food. The pretzel and chicken wings were high end and spot on. They also have beer flights with several yummy options. Everything at this place was delicious. 5 stars!
Great place to have lunch with friends and co- workers. The menu offers, great burgers, crab cakes steak and cheese sandwiches. For winter I recommend the chili and an extra serving of cornbread. Get s booth by the window and people watch while you repast and talk. The staff and waiters are charming, helpful and knowledgeable of the menu choices. This is one of the coolest places to treat yourself.
This store carries the CBD water I find life changing for non-narcotic pain relief that doesn't effect the legal issues of my profession. I find that the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, they have the information I need and they always address me by name ! I find that very impressive. Prices are reasonable and they will do everything they can to help me with particular issues.
Great selection of drinks; however, several were out when visited last. Service was quick and team was friendly. Offered great suggestions and food was good too.
Was the best meal I have had in a few days. Excellent food and drink with good atmosphere. Came from North Dakota on a business trip and was very happy to have went there for one of our meals. The jambalaya was some of the best I had in 25 years
My sister was in town visiting from Orlando, Florida and we needed to eat. After walking around China Town (Gallery Place) Neighborhood she didn't see anything she liked. I even felt that a nice dinner in "City Center" would do justice as she was only visiting for a few days and she didn't like any of those options. My sister had a taste for chicken as she doesn't eat pork or pork related items. We stumbled upon Capital City Brewing Co. She liked the location, the accessibility, the environment and the fact the hosts greeted us with a warm welcome. We both agreed that dinner was delicious, and flavorful. Out server Taneeshi was delightful, friendly and fast with the service. Overall, this place deserves a five all around
Friendly waiter. Quick service. I tried multiple of their beers and they were all delicious. Crab dip appetizer was good, wish however the crab was chunkier… the pieces were very small and tasted mostly of cheese and old bay. Steakhouse burger was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Atmosphere was tremendous.
Good selection of beers. I had the Capitol Kolsch and found it refreshing on a sultry evening. New York strip steak was juicy and perfectly seasoned. Crab dip was pretty good (could use more crab flavor vs Old Bay) and warm pita wedges were good accompaniment. Friendly, attentive service.
My fav place to eat while staying across the street at the Grand Hyatt. Great comfort food moderately priced. Customer service great too!
The service was fine, but honestly the food sucked ass. It's a good place to come for happy hours drinks only. Don't waste your money on the food.
Sports bar vibe with decent craft beer. Popular after work destination for an entree and a drink. Good happy hour with $5 appetizers.and they are actually ones people like. Variety of options across the menu that should satisfy most eaters. I'd skip the chicken wrap, it's served cold.Just go for a burger.
We were walking to a metro from exploring DC and decided to stop into Capitol City Brewing. We were happily surprised to get complimentary soft pretzels and really enjoyed those. We didn't care as much for my fish and chips though and the shrimp tacos but other than that it was a good experience.
Fast service. The bar was packed when I arrived. I told the host that I wanted a beer but couldn't find a seat in the bar area. He gave me one of the 3 empty tables in the dining area. Nice.
The New Love IPA is a little cloying but fruity and has a solid hip bite. I never complain about complementary soft Brezel especially when they are above average.
Bonus: When the check arrived I realized that they must have a Happy Hour. $3.50 for a draft pint in DC is a nice surprise.
