215 to wait an hour to have.my puppy, who was in obvious pain, to see the most disinterested vet, who left room for something else in middle of exam, to come back after about 30 min to spend only 15 with my dog! He was rolling around, seizing, and they thought nothing was wrong!! No follow up, and very poor reception people!!.like ppl have 215 dollars to throw out the window to b told nothing!# my dog is STILL auffering, and I have nowhere to take him!! I wouldn't take an ant here! Be prepared to dole out big bucks 4 nothing!!

This amazing place saved our dog’s life after he almost died due to the negligence of our regular vet. When we brought our 2.5 year old Busby in at 8pm last Thursday, he was literally dying from sepsis from what was supposed to have been a simple procedure. After stabilizing him, Dr. Kochin and Dr. O’Marra conducted three surgical procedures during a 5-6 hour period through the night and saved him. His post surgical care has been phenomenal and every complication, symptom and set back has been addressed and carefully monitored. He was transferred from their Dennis location to Buzzards Bay so he could get even closer monitoring. All of the doctors, nurses, technicians and other staff have been extraordinarily kind, communicative, honest, comforting, and responsive. We will be forever grateful to them for saving Busby’s life and helping him and us through this traumatic ordeal that never should have happened in the first place.

All though this place may have "saved" a lot of pets. Once they get you and your pet into the exam room they proceed to tell you if you want your pet treated its going to be a bill anywhere from 500-700 dollars.

I brought my newborn kitten here because it was showing signs of sickness. All this place told me was that they could keep the kitten over night for a charge of 1800-2000 dollars. I could not afford this and my kitten later died that day and I feel this place did not help his cause. What a robbery.

So this establishment is great with all types of aniamal care , but management not so good , they are so horrible to there employees and are so understaffed it's a joke. I know I wouldn't want my pet being operated on by over worked employees who are certainly well qualified but running on 2 hours of sleep and 3 energy drinks!!!!! I have contacted the department of labor, they promised me they will look into it.

Unless you are in a severe emergency and cannot make it off Cape to one of the other emergency hospitals you have to know that their pricing is outrageous. Unconscionable I would go so far as to say. And unlike other emergency hospitals in the state of MA (and we have dealt with most of them) they DO NOT offer a rescue discount to charity organizations trying to save animals.

Came in because my regular vet was closed. The place is quite reasonable in terms of location, cleanliness etc.

I was however, not particularly impressed with the staff. The greeting and interaction was somewhat robotic. No one was rude just not particularly friendly or engaging.

I suspect that I'll have other opportunities to review this 24 hour vet (I live nearby) and I should disclose that I'm rather picky about vets.

Front desk staff. Flat, not particularly engaging didn't seem personally interested in my sick pet.

Nurse. The gent who presented as a nurse, was more engaging, appropriate and approached my pet with care.

Vet. The female vet who attended to us was flat as well. Not engaged, definitely didn't seem to appreciate my second guessing her.

If I get the opportunity to provide a more favorable review I will.

Our aging mini-Schnauzer Bubba had a rough 2 weeks at the end and when he woke up on his last morning he was in misery. We called CCVS and they said to bring him right over at 7 am and that they had a vet on duty 24 hours a day.

They treated our grief with the utmost of sensitivity and caring, explained the process, put us in a private room, dealt with Angel's Rest for the cremation and had us exit through a private door and not through the lobby. This is the 7th pet we've had to put down and although never easy, this was certainly the most thoughtful process of them all. They really understand your grief. Kudos to the staff at CCVS.

They even sent us a card.

The place seems clean and professional enough, but they really seem to care more about the money than anything else.
If you go in with a sick pet make sure you have $1000 in your pocket.
I do understand that about eliminating their billing department they can keep their costs low, but they are anything but.

During a scary 3 am visit to the emergency vet, our veterinarian Leah was informative, kind, and not at all pushy. My cat Coraline is back to her crazy self thanks to this clinic!

I would've advise anybody who really loves the Pet not to bring them there , it was probably the worst experience of a lifetime I say that because they're only about the money they can't even start procedures without talking about money even if you're really good for it I spent multiple thousands on my dog which I would do again if necessary any and Also there bedside manner and kindness I would describe them as cold there was one doctor that I talk to on the phone and one nurse who I dealt with that seemed nice when I came to pick up my puppy in a box but overall the experience was bad and I beg you please do not bring your pet there you will not enjoy the experience , they need to learn the word compassion kindness and more or shut the operation down, they did one things for me though I will now Persure to do more for our pet as far a financing help and more.

HAVE BEEN HOLDING BACK WRITING A REVIEW. THEY SHOULD PUT A SIGN SAYING,"WE ARE GREEDY VETS, EMPTY YOUR BANK ACCOUNT, PLEASE".
WENT TO OUR REGULAR VET AND HE DID SOME TESTS, CAME TO $61 AS AN EMERGENCY, THEN WENT TO "CAPE COD RIPOFFS". WALKED IN WITH OUR DOG, BEFORE THEY EVEN LOOKED AT HER, THAT WILL BE $500 TO $700. BUT THEY MADE SURE YOU PAYED UP FRONT. THEN 10 MIN. LATER THEY CAME OUT AND SAID IT DIDN'T LOOK GOOD AND IT WOULD BE $5,000 TO $10,000 IF WE WANTED SURGERY, THAT MAYBE THE DOG WOULD LAST 30 DAYS. HOW CRUEL AND INSENSITIVE CAN THESE PEOPLE BE. THEY PRAY ON YOUR FEELING. THEY SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE AG'S OFFICE AND BETTER BUSINESS OFFICE. THE ITEMIZED BILL SEEMED TO BE A JOKE. HOW COULD THEY DO ALL THESE THINGS IN SUCH A SHORT TIME. THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THE REG VET DID THE TESTS AND CHARGED $61 FOR THE SAME DIAGNOSIS . THEY SAID THE REG VET DON'T KNOW THEIR PRICING. HELLO, GUESS NOT. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. MINUS STARS FOR THIS PLACE. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET, KEEP CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. THEY WERE SHORT STAFFED AND DID NOT HAVE A TECHNICIAN THERE TO DO ULTRA SOUND. SO, AS AN EMERGENCY ROOM HOSPITAL, THEY GET AN "F" FOR FAILURE

First of all, get animal insurance for your dog.
It's going to save you $$ in the long run, and maybe even in the short run.
Research the options with great care. Just as you would for yourself.some insurance companies are far far better than others.
I have been to animal hospitals and clinics in New York and Boston as well, and truthfully this place is as good or even sometimes better than they are.
I think they're compassionate and professional. They are not non profit.the Vets are beautifully trained, and as with our Docs, it really costs a lot to become a Vet! They deserve an income just as well all do in our professions.
