This place is a decent place to watch movies. The prices are a bit better and they have the option for drive-in when it's in season. The chairs don't recline, but you don't have to rsvp spots either. It has outdated equipment, but it's clean and charming.

I dont like to give out reviews that arent 5 stars- and rarely do so. I guess my reasons for not particularly liking this place might not to apply to others but may apply to teenagers. I had my first date here and I don't regret it, however unlike other movie theaters they will always card you if you see an R rated movie. (I am 20, but I guess I can pass for 16). I dislike this because like any other teen, I like R rated movies and never found them innapropriate for me. If you are young and can't technically see R rated movies without an adult, of course you can purchase a ticket for another show. However, here they will sweep through the movie theater (even while the movie is playing) to check tickets for young people and kick them out. (This happened to me on a couple occasions, halfway through a movie, and I just left the theater). Also, they don't particularly like movies that could be called "sacrilegious". They refuse to play them, and to my disappointment, I've had to go to other theaters.

TLDR; if you are under 17, without an adult, and want to see an R rated movie with friends, consider Regal Cinema in greenwood or any AMC. But if you have a family and want to see the Lego Movie, this is the place for you. They have cheap ticket prices and a homey, family-friendly atmosphere. It's also a great place to watch movie debuts such as Twilight- the whole theater is booked for those movies and it's pretty fun (just buy your ticket early). They also make great popcorn.

Took my little girl to see my little pony and she loved it. Even gave a certificate.

I love our little theater! Great staff, great games, great food selections. It may not have the chairs that recline but its much more personable! Family friendly, clean and affordable.

Great place to go to see new movies. Drive in is cool to go to for double features. Can be expensive for a big family.

It is refreshing to find an independent theater like Canary Creek. They offer a drive in, digital picture and sound, and comfy seats!

I love this theater. Reasonable prices for both movies and concessions. They also have a pretty solid lineup of films. Yeah, it's not super fancy or anything like that, but they have both indoor conventional theaters and a drive-in. What more could a person want?

I enjoy coming to this theater. Lately, however, it seems there are less and less top movies being shown. "Lion" was never shown and I couldn't find "The Zoo Keeper's Wife" in coming attractions. "Lion" was nominated for an Oscar. It seems there are many more movies that are for kids, sci fi and horror movies. Please consider more movies with serious and true story substance.

Great theater. Small but usually no crowd. Better prices than the big chains as well.

Good prices, tasty popcorn, and clean facilities. There did seem to be some kind of an issue with the start of the movie. It was scheduled to begin at 12:30, but at that point the screen just went blank. It stayed blank for about 10 to 15 minutes, before finally starting the previews. I don't know if they had a malfunction, or if maybe they still had a lot of people in line for the show (there were quite a few late-comers), but it was a little difficult keeping our son from growing too impatient.
