Kenny was awesome. We started our search on the internet and he called within 24 hours. We worked out all the details so when we showed up the camper was all ready to preview. I didn't get the finance person's card, but he was equally outstanding. Ran us through all the options, dealt with my skepticism and several most likely annoying questions. Finally, Greg. What can I say. He was the "walkthrough" person for our unit and then proceeded to personally transfer my tow package clamps from my old to new unit. Another individual he was working with set up my sway bar within the hour and even had a saw in his truck to cut boards to help us get the jack up. One note: I arrived at 3:00 during the Alabama-Auburn game and left at 7:30. Not one moment did I feel like I was interrupting them (in fact, they even gave me some of the pizza they were sharing for the game).
Great crew, already had the sale and just kept working. It was very much a family atmosphere and I truly appreciate it.
Terrible service. Pulling our 5th wheel and went in to purchase a battery. Asked for help getting it to RV. Said they would charge us an hour labor and also we'd have to make an appointment instead of help now. My husband is older and we needed just help lifting it, not hooking it up. It was 100 degrees outside. They said sorry. As we went outside, saw one staff at front sitting and around left side of building, 3 staff smoking Where's a little compassion that would have taken 5 minutes or less for a stronger hand. We had just spent 160.00
Recently had my refrigerator replaced in our travel trailer at Camping World. We had an excellent experience. One minor glitch which I brought to the attention of Charles Powell, the store manager. Mr Powell corrected our issue immediately and bent over backwards to make sure we were satisfied. Great service, would not hesitate to recommend.
It was an overall good experience, but you cannot just look on your own. You have to sign in and tell them what you are looking for even when you are not really sure. Also a salesperson goes with you to every RV. Makes it hard to just look and get ideas as to what you're looking for on your own. It was a very nice facility with a good inventory of items for sale and they were friendly. I wish they would allow you to look on your own, because of this, I would personally be more likely to buy from somewhere that I did not feel as much pressure from.
To find out you brand new campers that's just over a year old and it electric jack only has a one year warranty and is already bad sucks! To find out there's nothing Camping World will do not stand behind there products is sad! This is the 2nd time the Customer service I've received is below par and they wonder why I never want to upgrade anything with them when they call to sell me something! Maybe you should call customers back in a timely manner and stand behind your products! Don't worry, I'll manually crank my electric jack till I can buy a new one!
We just bought a new camper. Our salesman, Tommy Barnett, was very nice and helpful. He listened to what we were looking for in a camper and was able to show us the appropriate campers. Doyle, the finance manager, was very nice and helpful in explaining all the options to us. We were pleased with our interactions with Camping World of Robertsdale.
I want to give a very heartfelt thank you to my salespeople Debbie and Tommy. They are amazing people. They were very patient and kind in helping me find my perfect new RV. I can't thank them enough.
We just bought a trailer from Camping World in Robertsdale, the General Manager Mike Wolf, Service Manager Robert, Finance Manager, Doyle and our Salesman Mike Tucker did a great job. We started off with the Internet Manager Jimmy Thompson, who referred us out to Michael. All, made sure that our purchase was handled with the utmost care. We had a problem with the trailer not being able to utilize one of the slide out toppers that we requested, and all of these gentlemen stayed the course and made sure that they made it right even if it was difficult and made sure that we left there satisfied. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to buy an RV and can assure you that we will be back. This is our 4th RV purchase and we have never been happier.
Good inventory of camping supplies and equipment. Friendly and helpful employees. Price good, especially if you are a Good Sam member. Personally know a few items are cheaper here than at the Hardware store.
Wish it could be 0. I can not remember a worse customer service experience anywhere in my life. We wanted one item and did not want to order online because of the high shipping charges. There are only two stores anywhere near us. First we drove to one store that is almost an hour away (Navarre, FL). Arrived and found out item was not in stock. No offer to try and help us in any way, even after we mentioned driving for an hour. So the next day I decided to try the one in Foley, AL. To insure they were in stock I called the store. The guy told me they had two. Verified the price was the same as online, was told yes. Drove almost an hour again. Got the item and headed to checkout. It rung up almost 25 dollars more than I was told on the phone. I explained this to the cashier who very shortly told me that was member price. I showed her online where it was 25 dollars less and again explained that I was told on the phone was the same price and just drove almost an hour based on that. Absolutely zero concern on the cashiers part. Did not offer to try and find out who we spoke to. Actually offered nothing at all. Not even a cursory apology for the erroneous info I was given nor the inconvenience of a two hour round trip!! This is ridiculous! I figured I would contact support before I leave my reviews on this experience and see if anyone in the entire company cares anything about such treatment. Oh by the way, went home and ordered it online for the 25 dollars less listed on the website. Regular price NOT member price. Of course was charged 10 dollars shipping.
After 4 trips to this location we had our heat pump/ac's replaced at almost $5,000 only to end up with a roof leak and no furnace. Oh but of course it's not their fault and there's a one hour service call involved. Funny thing is, we didn't have any leaks prior to them touching our coach and the furnace worked fine off the old thermostat. Seems to be a pattern with this location. We were warned by many people not to deal with this service department. We opted to have them replaced here so that we would be covered in the event of an issue. Lesson learned the expensive way. Do yourselves a huge favor and go to Carpenters Campers or any other place you can find. This service department is an absolute mess. Prior service manager and technicians were just recently fired do to problems and apparently they need to keep that list growing.
This was our first camper buying experience. Steve Diamond was very helpful, and he offered us plenty of private time to look around at the different models. We went to the lot several times to look around, and we never felt hassled or pressured into making a purchase. So far we are happy with the buying experience through Steve and Camping World of South Alabama.
This is my new family now. Impossible to have had a better experience. I'll always go there to do my business. Great great job guys! They were sensitive to my new status as a south Louisiana flood victim. To help even more they are delivering my new toy hauler all the way to Baton Rouge (at no cost). They didn't have to do that. What great people they ALL are👍
This place is great and pretty big. Walking in we were greeted immediately. The place is also really clean. We walked in not deciding on if we were buying a camper but we fell in love with one. They gave us a good deal on the camper so we bought it the day of. The sales guy was really nice. He offered us drinks and popcorn. I also told him I really liked diet Dr Pepper and he found one for me.
