Ripped me off on the price of a vehicle. I had never bought a car before and although I did my research I got taken advantage of. Down the line when I called Mike with a question on the vehicle he was responsive and helpful- until he realized my question didn’t involve him making another sale. Then he went silent and wouldn’t respond. Awful experience all around DO NOT buy a vehicle from here!
I went to Campbell Nelson and purchased my first new car and had a pleasant car buying experience. Like all car dealerships, they will push add-ons like extended warranty and gap insurance, however they didn’t push back too much once I said no, simply provided all options and made sure I understood what I was saying no to.
The car I ended up purchasing was discounted and well below what the price that I found at other dealerships, so I decided not to negotiate pricing, as I was happy to pay the asking and didn’t want to spend all day at the dealership. With the test drive, paperwork, waiting for financial approval, updating car insurance, licensing, and brief up selling attempts, I was out of there with a new car in about 2 1/2 hours.
For over 20 years I have experienced exceptional quality, honesty, integrity, and customer-first sales and service. Highly recommend. Just bought a 2018 Atlas with complete confidence. A happy experience!
Clint Richardson has become someone our family considers a friend. He is easy to work with, truly listens to the client’s concerns and needs when discussing which vehicle to look at, and very trustworthy. Clint has sold our family 3 or 4 vehicles now, and we love knowing that we have someone to trust when considering these important purchases.

What a fantastic experience! I went to Campbell on a fact-finding mission. I was considering a newer car and wasn't sure what I wanted. I'd put off any consideration of car shopping for a long time because the process is always so unpleasant. Not this time!
I was greeted by Scott. I told him I was just there to see a Jetta and get information. There was ZERO pressure. He was more than accommodating. I came with one in mind, but it was no longer available. Scott showed me the other options they had. He also showed me a new one that was almost the same price as the used one. (End of Year Sales! Yay!)
I fell in love with it during the test drive, but still wasn't sure I wanted to move forward. At no time was Scott ever pushy or pressuring. He was very considerate. He gave me time to wander off and think about what I wanted to do. This has never been my experience in a dealership before and was a welcome!
I ended up buying my car -- LOVE IT! The entire process was smooth and enjoyable. If you are looking for a no-pressure, pleasant car buying experience, go see Scott! (Although I'm sure the other salespeople are just as awesome!) I would definitely recommend Campbell!
We worked with Saba and he was such a breath of fresh air. He really went above and beyond to make our experience painless and fun. He explained every little detail of our vehicle and how to use it, reworked the financial numbers as best as he could to get a car payment that worked for our budget, and didn't try and pull fast ones on us like so many sales guys tend to do. He was genuine and funny and kind and down to earth and honestly it was just a pleasure meeting him as a person. The sales manager, insurance rep & finance person we dealt with were all wonderful too. Easy, laid back, didn't feel pressured or lied to -- just can't recommend them more! If a dealership doesn't make you feel like family like this one does, they're doing it wrong.
I absolutely love the used Nissan I bought from Campbell. Not only is the car perfect, but I had a great experience with everyone I dealt with at the dealership. I was nervous about my first time buying a car with financing, but they made it simple and worked directly with my credit union! Clint was wonderful- he clearly took a personal interest in helping me get the car that fit my needs, took time out of his day to help, and didn't try to convince me to go beyond my means. I would recommend this place to friends/family, for sure!
I went in a few months ago when I was shopping for a car and it was a great experience. I didn’t really know what I wanted and the sales representative (Scott) was really great about explaining the different features of the cars I was looking at. He politely answered all my questions, let me take my time to decide, and did so without being pushy.
I took the 2016 Volkswagen Golf (A7) SE on a test drive. Scott was very knowledgeable about all the different features this car had, and even showed me how my phone connected to the car. The financing department made the purchase quick, easy, and everything was clearly explained through the process.
A few months after driving the car, the car play function disconnected so I made an appointment with the service department to take a look at it. They didn’t know what to do since the problem seemed to be external. Then the next day, after contacting the apple store, the manager of the service department (Perter) text me after personally contacting apple with clear instructions on how to reconnect my phone to the system. He went out of his way to make sure an issue was resolved, and I greatly appreciated this. This is the third car my family has purchased from Campbell Volkswagen of Edmonds because of their reliable vehicles, and truly exceptional customer service from the sales to the services department.
Dropped in to look at a new Golf R. I am in the market for a new compact; gla45, golf r, focus rs. I approached the salesmen to see if they had one I could look at. I was told they didn't have any. I asked the gentleman if, in fact, they had any since his response was terse and seemed absurd. He then said yes they had a few, but they were spoken for. His associate asked if they could put my name on one. I told him I wanted to test drive one before he could my name on one. Who wouldn't want to test drive a $40k+ car first? I was told "You aren't allowed to test drive those cars". I immediately left. I could have bought it cash on the spot. My friend and I were shocked they are still in business after all of these years.
Absolutely nuts. I can go down the street to the Mercedes or Lexus dealer to see and test drive anything on the lot. A VW Golf R, apparently not.

We can't say enough about the positive, honest buying experience we encountered at Campbell Nelson. We called ahead, and David B had the car we wanted waiting out front for our test drive. He didn't play any of the "I need to check with my Sales Manager" games or try to turn the conversation into how much we could afford to pay a month. He just worked up the best price available for the car we wanted, and provided us with the costs in a professional printout. This was such a positive contrast to our experience at another VW dealer who showed us numbers scribbled on a pad, disappeared to 'negotiate' on our behalf with someone in a back room, and returned with slightly lower numbers scribbled below the first offer. A second strong reason we are very pleased to have done business with Campbell Nelson is their long history of community support in such a wide area of need. As long time residents, we see the Campbell Nelson logo on the programs and flyers of many organizations we frequent, and appreciate their partnership in our civic lives.
So, I'm looking for my fourth car in two years. And I've learned customer service is EVERYTHING, as well as a good warranty. I had spoken to Scott about looking at some cars a couple of days prior. Since he wasn't available the day I went in (I drove 2 hours based solely on reviews) he directed me to another person who could help me. I ended up working with Alan who is pretty chill, extremely knowledgeable & let's you decide what you need. He also got me a better rate than my bank could. Did I buy a car? Of course I did And guess what! I'll be back to buy another in a few weeks. This was the best shopping experience I've ever had!
