This is our eighth summer of traveling the beautiful roads to Camp Hidden Meadows. I have never heard a complaint from either of boys about this camp and we, as parents, don't have one either. I can't say that about much else. :)
My daughter has been going for some time and loves it!
Great camp! My son had some bad experiences at OTHER camps, so I was reluctant to try again. So glad I did!! He's returning this summer and he can't wait.
Hidden Meadows is very well run. Staff is easy to work with, having priorities in proper order. Food allergies are no problem. Much of the counseling staff come from overseas, which is a nice addition to the typical camp experience. This camp offers an incredible array of activities for its size.
Thoroughly enjoyed my experience there as a counselor. A fantastic camp with a wide range of activities for the kids to choose from!
My fourth-grade daughter loves this camp. I enjoyed speaking with the owner, who I was very impressed with. She is happily returning again in 2014.
My girls are headed back to Camp Hidden Meadows for the second time and are joyful at the prospect. They had a great 2 week stay last summer, enjoying the many outdoor activities including riding, rock climbing, hiking and rafting. They loved the cooking, organic farming, evening with a guitar around the camp fire and so many of the diverse, fun things to do at CHM. The staff was super, the facilities lovely and clean, the setting charming, and the whole experience was wonderful. There were tears when I went to collect them: they would stay all summer if they could. I specifically would mention that because of the small size of the camp, all the kids, across all age groups, intermingle and become fast friends, which is nice. My kids loved meeting the campers from overseas: there were quite a few and I also appreciated that the camp offers decent vegetarian fare for my girls. You cannot go wrong with CHM.
