Beautiful well maintained and pet friendly park. Kayaks can be rented. Fishing in Lake Powell and Inlet is possible. It's a LONG walk through sugar sand to see the Gulf. Once you make it there it's a great quiet beach!

The single most beautiful, romantic spot I've found on the beach. A fishing dream, a natures lovers paradise and a bird watchers dream. You ve got to visit this spot if in Panama city beach.

Loved it, but hey I am into this sort of scenery. It's not a very big place, but has a lovely walk to the beach along sort marshy part of the bay and dunes. There are a few short unpaved sandy trails. Quiet. Lovely.

Great flashback to older times. Tells story of Avondale Mills owning and using for employees vacation houses. Can take a nature hike and walk to the beach.

Neat small State Park with some historical sites and a few good walking trails. Some trails are shaded but some are in the sun which these get hot in the summer.

I loved my visit here! A double red flag day meant we couldn't swim in the gulf, instead we beachcombed the beach all the way to the Old Pier & back

Short drive from pcb with great scenery, fishing lakeside and ocean, nature trails, wonderful beach and only 4.00 per car to get in for day. Downside, walk to beach is 7/8th of a mile.

Gorgeous park. Not crowded. Beautiful beach and water. Very relaxing. Full disclosure it's a bit of a hike from the parking area to the beach. Maybe .5 mile. Definitely worth it though.

Great views, good trails through dunes and along waterfront, plenty of wildlife. Longer walk to beach than expected and not stroller friendly. Bring insect repellent.

Definitely a hidden gem in Panama City. The beach is beautiful and there are many trails for walking. Pack light because there is a long sandy walk to the beach

Could be a much more beautiful place if they weren't trying to make so much money on campers, renters, and entrance fees. They claim park is dog-friendly; it is barely.

A hidden Gem.. On the secret place to visit list in Panama City Beach. Be prepared for a walk to the beach if you have a lot of beach gear Make sure to use the honesty pay system when coming in through the gates.. It helps to support the services for the park, along with the Fed dollars and local groups that make this hidden gem stay Stellar. There are restrooms at the main office and at the top of the place where you go done to the beaches Pack smart as this requires some trekking.. once there it will be worth it. Fun Fact filmed Luke Bryan's song, "Roller Coaster" album is Crash My Party watch it and see for yourself. One of the best of places to and worth the hike. Try the walking trail for some relief from the sun.
