Uhh you already know it's a military base in the middle of nowhere, next to a perfectly round lakeseems like a conspiracy. There is a Little museum open to the public. I've heard it's rather interesting. Hence the 2 stars otherwise it gets none.

The charm of the south, the beauty of Florida, and the well oiled percision of the military. Dont break the speed limit on base, and wear your seatbelt. If you have access, enjoy the lake.

Absolutely horrid customer service. The post is beautiful, the rooms are nice, but the women who work in the lodging office are incompetent to say the least. Prepare for shenanigans with the front office, but once you pass the hurdle of their inability to do their job, you should be ok staying there.

Nice little px. Good boat ramp and water access. Only bad thing I can say isI think that ticks outnumber humans 2000 to 1. Don't go into the woods unless you enjoy pulling 26 ticks off you.

Very cool to be able to walk through artifacts and war machines and learn about the history of our veterans.

A great location for not only military training but also for relaxation. With easy access to Kingsley Lake, fishing and boating is a plus. There are also a few camp ground locations near the lake.
