  My family has been attending Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale since February 2000. Pastor Doug Sauder is a soft-spoken pastor who gets straight to the Word and makes it clear. We are a Bible-based believing church who loves our people, community and most importantly God. Come as you are to Calvary. We'd love to have you.

  I really enjoy the worship here. The teachings are very spiritually anointed. There are many opportunities to serve at this church. They are very loving, kind and helpful. They also have a playground for the children, and they have their own Grill they have some really great food and desserts. Their service times are Sunday 9/11 + 1:00, Saturdays are service times are 6 and 8 p.m. In midweek service 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.

  My son attends the elementary school at Calvary Christian Academy. It is by far the best school we've ever encountered. We love it!

  This is a real Jesus, Bible-centered church. You have to come. You are invited. Come. There is love, peace and amazing service projects to help others and serve. You come. You will find Jesus Christ at Calvary Chapel. You will be refreshed and welcomed.

  Love Calvary Chapel and Pastor Doug. I attend the Boca Raton campus where we have it streaming on a big screen. We have a different worship service than at Fort Lauderdale and it is the best. In order to make friends you need to go to community groups or other services which is probably the same as in any other church.
  I have learned so much from Pastor Doug and the other great teachers here and would not think of going anywhere else.

  Gave three. Love Calvary. Always had. First time with the new addition to family. Not happy to see you with baby in service. Had a guy follow me when I was walking with him. And then had a lady tell me that people were distracted by my baby who hardly made noise. And I told her I did not want to take baby to day care, but she still insisted. But have finally taken him to daycare,and it's nice. Wanted to add that they don't preach 100% sound doctrine.Seems I never hear them really explain what a Holy life in Christ is to the congregation and how to live one. And I think they believe you can't lose your salvation. Even though Bible states in many verses how you could. Not all those who call me Lord Lord will inherit the kingdom of heaven. Just a feel good message all the time. No Fear of the Lord stuff. Otherwise they do great community outreach and missions. Still going cause so tired of trying to find a sound doctrine church, I think they don't exists. Thank God for the individuals are the church not the building :).

  We moved from California almost 3 years ago and have been looking for a home church for quite some time. Pastor Doug is an amazing teacher and the community is welcoming and friendly. We love the connect experience to meet other members and feel at home in such a big church. The Lord definitely answered our prayers. We look forward to getting more involved! Highly recommend this church. :)

  This church has and continues to teach and provide services that are true to God's word so that you, your family and friends may be able to grow in a loving relationship with Him not just knowledge about Him, We in this church body do not Proclaim perfection but only JESUS perfection, because only God in heaven is GOOD, we're just trying to catch up...   An amazing church that lives by the teachings of Christ with pure love.
  Always seeing where they can help others in need & looking to lend a hand, before they are asked.
  The enthusiasm for Christ word in visible in young, teenagers, college students, couples, adults & seniors. It's really a joy to watch from the outside in.

  I never thought I would ever leave negative feedback on a church. I recently have been tasked with divorcing my abusive wife with 4 kids I been trying to get help or talk to someone. I was referred to get a scholarship to watch the kids as a working father and restraint order against my wife I have no one....I mean no one to watch the kids. I kept getting bounced around from dept to dept. This person that person over 4 out of 5 I left messages for have yet to call me back. What happened to the church being the backbone I see now Calvary is just about money. I was quoted $648 per child per month for daycare/school. I asked for referrals there has to be someone in the church able to help recommend a baby sitter I was told very sorry we don't do that. I been a Christian all my life fallen off the horse several times but I am very displeased with the treatment recvd from staff. They seem to give canned responses I pray that God forgives you all for passing me off like I was left overs at the dinner table I have a heart and soul and so do my kids and CALVARY YOU CRUSHED IT EVEN MORE. I WON'T BE STEPPING FOOT INSIDE YOUR DOOR ANYMORE!!! YOU PREACH ONE THING AND DO ANOTHER!!!!

  Came with my baby and was just going to stay for the worship with him then check him into childcare, however they were so welcoming and said I could stay with him the whole service, so I did stay most of the service. I stayed in the back, which worked out great, so that when I wanted to step out to breastfeed it was easy and they directed me to a lovely nursing room where I could still hear the service. Had a great experience and still use the great childcare they have though I don't have to😊
