Transferred here and I absolutely love it. All of my professors have been kind and understanding individuals that want me to succeed. Students are friendly and it’s nice having such a diverse student body. The campus is beautiful. Our health services are amazing. The library is a great place to spend your time. Im so happy I decided to come here.

The actions of Eric Cabin were absolutely wrong. For a professor to act out violently towards students is not how an educator behaves & the disciplinary actions he received from the CSUF were ludicrous. Violence solves nothing & teaches nothing. If a college professor chooses to lashing out physically instead of expressing himself academically, then he doesn't belong on a college campus.

Got my bachelors here. Great university! Like anywhere there are some bad teachers and some nasty people but that is part of the education, learning to deal with not so great people. Most of my teachers and peers were good or pleasant people and the campus is safe and pretty well maintained. There may be "better" universities out there but not for this price. Nice campus with a lot to offer, I barely scraped the surface of all the clubs or campus amenities and it is still great. Again sure you can find a prettier campus or a more prestigious university but not for this price or location. I would gladly send my kids here. It gave me the skills and opportunities I needed to start my career. I may not own a Ferrari but I do own a home and my own car so it worked for me.

Spend my year abroad there. All in all it was a wonderful experience studying at csuf. Life on campus was dynamic and varied and you get in touch with a lot of people from different countries. Only negative point, as an international student it was hard to get the good courses with the better rated profs as people from abroad are probably the second choice when it comes to class allocation.

Its alright, some professors dont care about you at all, some really care, parking is horrible and you have to pay over $200 to MAYBE get a parking spot

This school is very good because it has a lot of different restaurants and cafes to choose from. The Bookstore has so many books, materials, and apparels to choose from and it is heaven. It has a bowling alley too. But this school rocks since James Cameron and Kevin Costner choose this place to finish their studies and become famous. I will choose this school after I am finish with Mt SAC.

Been with CSUF for 4+ years and have found myself greatly enriched by the quality of education I have so far received. The campus is huge and has a great diversity of buildings and scholarship. The campus is also beautiful (especially the arboretum). Lastly, there are also many different places to eat (and even shop) at.
