Beautiful island. 15 minute ferry ride from Honeymoon Island. Lots of shells. You can rent umbrellas and relax on the beach. Absolutely a must visit place

This place was a pleasure. A nice little daily getaway. Make sure you bring the sunscreen! Not a whole lot of shady places. Great beach combing, found a wonderful tiger sharks tooth. Would like to go back not in the dead middle of summer.

I have been going to Caladesi Island for about 10 years now. Though i have never been on the fairy to get here i always have taken our boat. We have stayed overnight for weekends and have gone for just day trips. Both are great experiences. Their restaurant is really over-priced but its because they have to have the food transported via fairy. This is a very clean beach and can be very quaint.

Amazing island! The beaches were beautiful and the nature trail had animals going about their daily business. The picnic areas, grills and bathrooms were clean and the staff was VERY friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. They made us feel very welcome as visitors. We even saw dolphins on the way back on the ferry!

I love Caladesi Island. It is pretty expensive to park at honeymoon and take the ferry which means it is pretty secluded, I typically put in my Kayak on the causeway and make my over. Tons of great wildlife and a good place to fish. There is even a nice little restaurant in the middle which has great burgers and fries!

A beautiful beach, not crowded at all. However, the signs weren't clear. My friends and I weren't from Tampa; therefore, we didn't know we should go on Honeymoon island then take a boat to Caladesi island.
Also, once we got there. They didn't give a map for the island or there wasn't any signs there. We were just following people since that was our first time to there.response / report this review -

Beautiful beach!! Great for shelling too! They have nice nature trails as well and if you forgot to bring a snack or drink they have a cafe. I can't wait to go again! Great place for nature lovers.

Really awesome park! The beach is beautiful and they have a nice nature trail for you to explore. The water is beautiful blueish/green and plenty of shells to find on the beach. Food and drinks and a small shop. The ferry was awesome, the captain was super friendly. Definitely worth it!

Fortunately this beach is preserved in it's natural beauty as a State park, one of the few marinas maintained by the State Park system (I think only two). It's only accessible by boat or ferry (unless you want to walk about 5 miles north from Clearwater Beach. Please don't come here, I'd like to keep it just the way it is!!

Beautiful state park on a semi secluded island. Tips: get there early, and splurge on the chair/umbrella rentals! The ferry comes often enough, but definitely not enough for convenience. It's a "make one trip" day!

Gosh I love this island. It's the best beach in Florida in my opinion. The ferry costs money in addition to parking, but it's a much better experience. The beaches are clean and there are tons of shells. The concession stand has some really great tasty treats. I wish the nature station would be completed soon. I think the trails could also use some sprucing up too, but I'm all about that beach. The farther you walk, the more secluded it can be (which is great). Just be sure to check when high tide comes in so you're not stranded.

We really enjoyed Honeymoon Island! Drive to the North Lot. The sand is soft and white and there are shells aplenty! The bathroom/changing room is large and clean. There is a small fee to enter, but it keeps the crowds down so it's totally worth it. Plenty of places to eat right off the island.

So beautiful beach. People are nice. Expensive burgers and fries. Be sure to bring your own food. Shelters and tables close to beach but you can't see beach from there. Quiet place. Clear Water. Ferry was only $14 per person.
