While few of Parkville’s original buildings remain, the Café des Amis is in the town’s oldest business structure (1844). It has housed a bakery, art gallery, furniture store, dentist, and funeral parlor! Ten years ago, the upper floor became home to Kansas city’s most romantic and authentic French restaurant, Café des Amis. Owned by Champagne native Ingrid and Guillaume Hanriot, the bistro is known for its great food which is created by the talented chef de cuisine Ingrid, and the genuinely French and warm hospitality of Guillaume.


Cafe des Amis is a proud recycler of every empty wine bottle.
