Not much of an ambiance but at the same time still authentic. It seemed to be community tables and seating for the most part. Food was delicious.

Great food!! Had the chicken pho and Vietnamese iced coffee and they were the best I have had in town. It was so busy and very crowded but service was quick.

My co-workers and i come here often. The food is pretty good. My main complaint is the disorganization. Sometimes they'll forget about my order and simply never make it until asked about. Or it will be 30 to 45 minutes after my friends get their food that i will have mine.

It's good. Is it the nicest setting? No. The most amazing service? No. But the food is excellent and prices solid.

Would be 4 stars but the service just killed it. The food is decent. Some flavorful, as others are not as much and almost mushy. I actually enjoy the Pho here. As far as service, they always "forget the rice" that suppose to come with the dish. When I had ask about it, the woman working there was extremely irritated with serving me the rice I was suppose to get, she almost yelled at me angrily. After that, I don't think I'd be coming back, which is disappointing because I come here all the time.

Great food, best Phõ in the KC area so far. Good prices, but could be better considering you pick up and bus your own tables. Very low key. Great for families with children or on a first date. The Asian market next door is worth the trip also. All together a wonderful experience. I will continue to chime to Cafe Viè for as long as I can. Two thumbs up!

I have been there several times. Every time it is very good. I have sampled many of the Korean dishes and the Vietnamese dishes and they truly satisfy with great taste and good nourishment. I feel great when I leave.

Very interesting place and also very confusing at first. Took us a few minutes to figure out where to order, how to order and what to order.
But once we figured it out things went great from there. There were about 20 people already dining when we walked but It only took about 10-15 minutes to get our order.
Portions are pretty decent and the price was very reasonable. Everything tasted good even though both dishes could use a little more flavor. But all in all we liked the dishes we ordered.
The restaurant itself could use a little updating and better setup but hey it's working so guess it's a judgement call.
We may not become regular weekly customers but it's definitely been added to our list of repeat places to eat out.
So Stop in and give them a try yourself and you might add it to your list as well. Just give them a pass on the decor and focus on the Food.report this review -

I always love going to Cafe Vie! Their staff is nice and no matter what I get the food is always amazing! It isn't expensive especially compared to the portions you get. You get quite a lot of food. The atmosphere is nice and easy to sit and talk to friends. All around this place is great, so of you are craving good food you need to try Cafe Vie!

Great pho (🍜). Wonderful other dishes as well. Served traditionally in a traditional noodle house atmosphere. Come hungry or plan to share, they offer huge portions. The regular could easily feed two people. Come for the food, go to the grocery and bakery next.

SLOW AF! First came out very peppery phó, which was one of 4 items we ordered. We waited 30 minutes for the other entree, which was very sub par, then had to continually remind the staff that we were still missing the other two items that we ordered. We were warned that the service was slow which I accepted going into the cafe, but to have the order come out at different time so you couldn't eat with your dining partner and have other later orders out before yours is ridiculous.

Best pho within KS and MO! I have been to many spots but this one I randomly came upon and have loved it ever since! Great portions, friendly staff, and broth is just on point. unlike the crappy joint I dealt with at the city market 😣. I come with family and friends, real almost vibe.
