    As we all know Hurricane Maria basically wiped Puerto Rico off the face of the earth. I had booked my honeymoon to the island months before knowing hurricanes would have the potential to interrupt our trip. Our trip came and the island was without electricity and water. I tried to file a claim to get reimbursed for my flights (Luckily the hotel has sympathy and gave me a full refund). I wasn't really too willing to go on my honeymoon to an island where I would basically have to camp in a tent (all hotels were out of order dealing with the recovery projects).

    The policy states "In order to cancel your Trip, you must have 4 days or 50% of your total Trip length or less remaining at the time the
    mandatory evacuation ends." So, because there wasn't a current evacuation officially declared during the time of my trip even though the island is basically uninhabitable, I got nothing.

    To their credit they got me with the small print details of their policy that I
    overlooked. Live and learn. I just wish it didn't have to cost me so much money. I guess I have to take this L. CSA beat me don't let them do the same to you.

    I never thought about getting travel insurance until a friend of mines recommended CSA travel Protection. I had to go to Copenhagen, Denmark for business travel and upon arrival, came down with thee worst cold ever. I called CSA and they guided me where to receive the best medical support ever in Denmark. Travel Insurance is needed for instances like this one. You know when you are going to feel ill while traveling and having an insurance company do the leg work for you would be less stress taking off of your nerves when you have no clue where to start.

    This is the worst company I have ever dealt with regard to their customer service, and false policy coverage. I recently flew to Australia for a week and booked the tickets online with Just Fly. They suggested strongly that I purchase this policy to cover any
    unforeseen circumstances. It turns out that my original flight back to the States was cancelled and I showed up to the airport in Melbourne, Australia to be told my flight was boarding and it was too late. There were two flights that day and one was cancelled ( mine ) . I never received any notification and as a result my husband and I were stuck an additional day in Melbourne incurring costs of travel and accommodation. We were able to travel the following day on Quantas who were nice enough not to charge us due to the cancellation. However upon arriving in the States we had to purchase two one way tickets from L.A. to Ft. Lauderdale for $1500. Upon returning I filled out the form that clearly states " trip cancellation..... and sent it off with all the pertinent information. After six weeks of calling and emailing I was bluntly informed that the policy only covered mechanical failure. If I knew this I would never have purchased this policy !! I have platinum Amex which covers this type of occurrence. I am very disappointed and fell as I have been scammed, I was told I should have the policy carefully !! DO NOT BUY THIS COVERAGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    We went to Mexico for vacation and got in a car accident. CSA’s emergency center sent us to their medical facility in Cancun that was better than a US hospital.

    I wish i could give no star to this company. I wanted to cancel my trip because I am not getting days off from work. I did not know this is not a legit reason because according to this company it is not. They would rather have you go unemployed then help you with your situation. They pretty much allow you to cancel flights if you are dying. Ridiculous policy! Don't waste your money on it.

    We bought CSA for our trip to St John. CSA helped us with our trip being cut short due to mother falling ill. Would recommend because their emergency center was efficient & professional throughout our crisis.

    This is the company I use for all of my international travel. We have been so fortunate to never have needed to make a claim or need assistance while traveling abroad. To be honest, I get travel insurance for international travel mainly for the Emergency Assistance. If you have any sort of emergency while travelling abroad, you are going to be so comforted by having a helping hand!
    I also recently purchased insurance for a domestic trip, mainly because many of my expenses were paid in advance. I am so glad I did! Our trip was delayed by one day, and ALL of our expenses covered under our policy were paid quickly! Yes, I had to submit documentation, of course! But the check arrived well in advance of the several weeks they quoted. I will definitely continue to use this company for my travel insurance needs.

    If I could choose zero stars to review this company, I would.
    The manager, Michael, allowed me the use of his quote when I asked for a claim update:

    "The level of customer service you are expecting is not cost effective for our company."

    From what I read, and have now researched about this company, is the overwhelming lack of fair pay-outs to their customers. Due diligence is not in their process.

    This is without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with.. EVER. I purchased it and its advertised as 100% travel protection and refund up to 24 hours prior to your flight. It was purchased for a flight to china and two months in advance I needed to cancel my trip and it was immediately denied. My job changed and I wouldn't permit me to leave.

    She told me I should've read the fine print. I asked what wouldn't be denied and she legitimately gave the reason of being called into the military due to a natural distaster. All I could do was laugh. Also the other was mechanical issues with a plane (the airline would take care of changing your tickets or refunds) inclimate weather (airline would take care of that too) or being sick and physically unable to travel with a treating physicians note

    Worst company ever. It's a scam
