We were here on a beautiful day. We normally walk at Freer to get steps in, but decided to change it up a bit. The paths are a little confusing for first timers. It may be due to the pipeline going through it. My daughter would be having fun and then stop to hold my hand because she would get creeped out. I have to admit, that I got creeped out several times as well. I'm not really sure why. But after an hour we just wanted to get out of there. I can't say that we have ever had that happen before on a nature hike. We saw a beautiful buck on the path. Maybe it is just us, but I'm not looking to go back anytime soon.

Great place to walk/run. Take bug spray, shoes you don't mind getting dirty. This is a nature preserve, don't expect paved paths.
