Amazing 17th century home with period furniture and some items dating back to the 1600's. We just love learning about history and the fact that you can experience it. Highly recommend visiting this home and others in historic Old Wethersfield.
Haven't been inside yet. The outside is enough to make me drool!
Great staff..amazing stories
Very nice early 18th c house museum. Lots of Pilgrim furnishings to enjoy. Simple history that is important to remember.
the Buttolph–Williams House is just on the other side of the block from the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum which make 4 house you can tour. we even took a little path through the yards from the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum to get the Buttolph–Williams House. after the tours we walk around to because there are so many old homes to see. so you can spend a lot of time here viewing site, shops and restaurants. but just to see this 1710 house is worth it itself. what was surprising was a family of 4 stop too and their were direct descendants of the Buttolph–Williams. how cool is that. i'll post their picture too.
