  Came by here with my husband and was surprised at the good parking that was available while we were in the tractor semi-truck. Amazing sand dunes and we took some great photos.

  Through the years, whenever my family, friends & I took our 3-wheelers, quads, and dirt bikes on a Dune trip, we almost always chose to go here to Buttercup. It's always less crowded than Glamis, a bit more relaxed (not as much drinking/partying or rude riders), and you can always find some virgin sand without having to ride for an hour. Of course, the exception being on a Holiday Weekend, it's pretty hard to get away from the "idiots". But that's why we don't go on holiday weekends. Have always had a memorable time here
