If you are in the Nashville area and have not eaten a burger here, then STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND GO IMMEDIATELY! Very reasonably priced, high quality food , excellent service and local. We went there expecting a good burger, but we ended up getting the 96er and some spiked shakes. The food was fantastic! The pricing was good for what you got, the burgers averaged $12-$15 dollars, the spiked shakes were $10 and the people working there were priceless. If you go, say hello to Anna the manager. She is very passionate about what she does and I would love to see this brand grow. Sorry for the one picture, if I didn't eat like it was my last meal I would have remembered to take more photos. Cheers!
Let's get all the bad things out of the way so we can concentrate on the good aspects. First, you may notice on the menu they offer tator tot fondue. You might get excited at the prospect of such a cool adventure like we did and order it. MUCH disappointment swarmed around our table of 4 when we saw all it is, is a plate of tator tots with a cheese sauce on the side. Not a fondue pot in site, not one single skewer for your tot to be dipped into the ooey gooey cheese sauce. Just a plate and a bowl.
Second, our group of 4 had various burgers and salads. Every said it was "just okay" nothing extraordinary or super delicious. Then general consensus was that we would come here for the atmosphere but not the food.
So, what are the good parts you may ask?
THE SERVICE WAS PHENOMENAL! The server was so great I wish I would have got her name so I could share it.
The atmosphere is fun.
I wanted to give this place a good rating but the sides won't let me. Now the burgers are very tasty . I have tried it a couple of times before I rated them . Smh
Burger Republic is an awesome place. Their food, service and overall decor is amazing. Special shoutout to our server Caitlin. She was absolutely magnificent. I highly recommend the Turkey Burger with Garlic/Bacon Fries. Trust me you'll thank me later 💙💜💛
Stopped by for dinner with my sister, we sat at our tables for almost 15 minutes before we got up and told the hosts we had not seen a server. I’ve worked in the serving industry I understand it gets busy. However, it was not busy at all. There were multiple servers sitting down. You would think that within 15 minutes you’d greet your table or at least stop by and say you’d get to us when you got the chance. We left and decided to place a mobile order, which was incorrect. I ordered the bacon ranch sandwich which I love, but due to dietary restrictions I do not eat pork(bacon). I requested no bacon on the sandwich. I didn’t notice until I’d got home that there was bacon on the sandwich that i had already taken a bite of. It was quite disappointing.
Waiter was excellent! Frienly and professional. Food was delicious!! I had the Tennessee burger all I have to say is YUM!!
This two star review is based on my last experience here. All of our burgers were cold (I mean NO warmth). They obviously sat in the window too long. I blame the server b/c at some point they must’ve been hot and he should not have served an unsatisfactory meal to a customer. That said, the manager personally came to our table and assured us they were making fresh ones. Once they came, it reminded me of a pre-made, frozen burger that was V flat and well-done burger. But they were hot!! Overall, Mediocre at best. I’ve had good burgers here in the past. Maybe a new vendor. Just too much like fast food.
First time at Burger 🍔 Republic today.
Was recommended by a coworker.
It was a splendid place for a meal. I had the West Texas Burger and my wife the Buy the Farm burger.
Both were excellent.
We finished off the meal with a spiked shake. Very very Tasty 😋
Our server was Jake and he was very attentive.
I well recommend this establishment!
Great atmosphere. Great burgers. Great beers. Don't leave without trying the Tater-Tot Fondue Your Cardiologist will thank you!!! (and you'll thank me.)
From out of town for a hockey tournament and we needed a place to go between games. Saw this had good reviews and decided to go. Sat 18 of us without hesitation and with a smile. Service was great and food was good. Location was weird but it obviously works for them.
The servers are always great. I love the turkey burgers here and the truffle tots. It's also always fun to treat yo' self with a spiked shake.
We had a fantastic server who was very informative. This was our first time to eat here and it was great. All of the wait staff were comical. The Tennessee was amazing! We also tried the Apple Pie Moonshine Milkshake and the Evil Smores and they were great.
Showed up there at 9pm. Not too busy, we walked in, sat down, and got our menus. The problem is, we were ignored after that. Two gentlemen came in after us and sat right next to us got their drinks and their orders put in before us. The server came by and checked on two ladies who also sat right next to us, twice, while ignoring and bypassing us. Some how we were invisible to him. At this point, I was mad, i got up and left, I told them they were very slow, but they didn't even respond, no sorry, nothing. I felt were treated unfairly. As you can tell from my name, I am Asian, if that has anything at all to do with the way we were treated, then Burger Republic has permanently lost me as a customer.
Good experience. Food and service was good. The server had good recommendations since it was our first time eating there. My burger was cooked exactly as I ordered it. The wife and kid agree - We will be back.
The Tennessee and The 96 are both spectacular burgers with a savory taste that you think about after you are long gone. My mouth just watered as I am writing this! Then add a milkshake! The Salted Caramel is great along with the Cookie Butter. For the adults, try the Frozen Black Irish milkshake. I hadn't been in a while, but we found ourselves craving Burger Republic. We tried to talk ourselves out of going, worried about the Saturday night crowds. So glad we went. They were busy, but got us seated in about half the time they estimated. Then they took great care of us and delivered food in a hurry that was absolutely perfect! No photos of the burger from yesterday, it had a giant bite out of it before I thought of a photo!
Most consistent beef I have ever experience. The burgers are top notch. The wings can hold their own with anyone (Memphis dry rub). I have been eating here for almost 2 years and I have never had a bad burger or experience. Great food and a great bar to watch sports.
Tonight was my first time eating anything from BR. I called in a to-go order this evening and ordered The Tennessee burger, medium with sweet potato tots. The tots are okay, average for tots. The burger was really undercooked, more like a medium rate, with a very thick ribbon of dark pink/red meat inside. There was also very little smoked ketchup on it. If I had time I would have gone back and showed them, but I was already home when I cut into it.
On a good note, the burgers are very thick. The service was nice. When I called the manager, he was very nice and voided my payment to correct the matter.
In the future I may go there again and give it one more chance, as all my housemates love it.
The burgers are great but I've had them all many times and it's time they have a menu change. I'm doing four stars because the food is great but we need something that rotates out on the menu.
Big juicy real meat burgers. Many varieties of toppings. French fries hot and crisp. Good service too
Ladies and gentlemen, I had a powerful emotional experience when I first ate at Burger Republic. I've never had an artfully prepared tater tot appetizers. Burgers should not make my chest fill with butterflies on the first bite. My shake should never make me question whether or not Reese's should step up their game. I'm bringing everyone I can.
Staff is always very friendly and the selection of burgers and shakes is great. They've got quality ingredients and great burger combos. I love the tater tots you get instead of standard fries. They've also got craft bears and spiked milkshakes if you're over 21.
The burger was cooked really well, and the beer selection was good too. I would say you're better off saving the money and just getting a normal milkshake rather than the spiked variety. The milkshake was delicious, but not worth the premium for the amount of alcohol in it. Overall a great experience and I'll be back again!
