🌲James Wesley Furniture🌲 ・・・ Applying #rubiomonocoat to the trestle table, I love the ease of this finish and the end results are great!

🌲The Wright Edge🌲 ・・・ Finally got around to some post-able content with the bottom side of this 61” x 43” x 3” Parota cookie being finished with Rubio Monocoat USA . Super excited for this build because it’s going to one of my best friends, Vic, for his new office! I’ll let this sit overnight, then flip it over, sand and finish the top. Boomsauce -

👉🏽 Rosewood co. 👈🏽 Another mind blowing [finish]. This slab is bursting with beauty and watching it come to life took my breath away. (😍) We’re so lucky to have clients with amazing taste, because that means working on fun projects like this one.

👉🏼Rustic Grain Designs 👈🏼 Beautiful!!! ・・・ The next step in the process of applying Rubio Monocoat USA Oil Plus 2C is to buff it by hand or Festool Rotex. I chose to use the less abrasive white floor pad instead of the red to preserve the pre color as much as possible. Key is to remove all the excess oil. The wood is red oak.

Check out this informative time lapse from @jeffmackdesigns using Rubio Monocoat. Great work guys! ... Here’s a quick time lapse showing how we apply Rubio Monocoat Pure on Walnut: 1) sand work piece up to 150 grit. 2) pour Rubio on to work piece and spread with a squeegee (even an old credit card works for this part).... 3) use blue shop towels to apply oil to edges. 4) use blue shop towels to wipe off excess oil. 5) keep wiping until no more oil is coming up on the shop towels. Would love to hear how you guys apply Rubio in the comments section. Don’t forget to bookmark this post so you can check back in later and read how everyone else is applying Rubio.
