Great family get-away spot. Easy fishing right off the dock. Beautiful sunsets and a gazebo to enjoy them from. Picture windows mean a great view from anywhere in the house. Highly recommend!

Most Houstonians have no idea that places like this exist in Houston. The sunsets last 2 hours. There are Bald Eagles, River Otters, Ducks, Geese, Pelicans, Cranes, and Great Blue Herons everywhere.
The fishing is top-notch. We caught a Jr State record and several fish over 25 pounds.
The handicapped accessible deck wraps around the entire house. Offers incredible viewing from an elevated platform.
Landscaping is lush. Each time we have been there something is in bloom.
The living room has floor to ceiling windows that offer a 270° view of Lake Houston. Unreal property.report this review -

I stayed at this vacation rental for a golf tournament that was in Houston. What a great place to relax. They even had a golf course within walking distance. I was able to practice my swing before the event. I highly recommend staying here. I will be booking again and bringing the whole family this summer.

I stayed at this Lake Houston rental while attending a conference in Houston for my company. This is a wonderful place to get work done. Sitting on the porch, you are surrounded by lake views and serenity. This beats a hotel any day in my book. Thanks for the peaceful and relaxing work trip.

My company put me up in this vacation rental while I was in town for business. Perfect spot to relax and get work done. The views from every room are extraordinary. Of course, I did some fishing during my down time and caught some huge bass. I highly recommend this rental on Lake Houston. It's great for work or for a family vacation. Planning on bringing mine next year.
