  Zero Stars!
  Very Hassle begging of vacation!
  Don't ruin your vacation or plans trying to rent with Budget! Neither this location or any other one.
  Made a reservation 2 weekes in advance for a convertable for one week. More than a month planning on our trip to SF to drive down the Pacific Coast Highway to LA.
  Well, getting to the store to pic up our mustang the receptionist started apologizing cause they did not have our car. No personal to bring it to their store from the airport. Ok, life happens, we are locals, no problem we go to the airport to pic it up.
  Once at the airport, we encounter a long line of unhappy customers. One lady with a reservation from 6 months ago waiting for 3 hours to get her car, they had a upgraded car but the sales person didn't want to give to her without charging the extra rate.
  About our convertable, they didn't have it either and there was another person waiting for a reserved convertable in front of us.
  I even tryed to negotiate, could drive any other car from SLC to SF if I could switch cars over there. He wanted to charge me more fees! Seems like they do this in Purpose! And no common sense of customer service at all !!!!
  
  Long story short, from the airport I called Enterprise, which has always been solid with their services. 10 min before their store close they could arrange someone to wait for us the get to ther store and fix us up with a car and the option to switch to a convertable in SF off any charge.
  The only reason didn't reserved with them before is because they are honest enough to not offer what they don't have.

  I have rented through the budget in provo and in american fork and never had any problems but the lady working at the one in midvale/murray has HORRIBLE customer service skills if any. Never going through them again

  I see that there are several negative reviews, but I had a great experience at Budget in Murray. The wife and I needed a fly ride for our anniversary and Tawnya and the crew took great care of us. Super quick, super easy, and an overall pleasant experience. I'll definitely go back the next time I need a car.

  I kind of wish I could give this no stars, it was that bad of an experience!
  My main complaint is that if you have a problem with your rental, like you need to change the car you got, or you want to extend your vehicle, the number that is supposed to ring to the store actually rings to the national headquarters. This would be fine, except that the national headquarters cannot help to change or extend reservations because this budget is owned differently. So to extend my rental I had to drive back to the rental place, which is ridiculous! It was a good thing I rented the car for around town use and not a cross country road trip! I would've been screwed!
  Seriously, don't go here. The service is terrible.

  Recommendation: Do not waste your time. Much better locations.
  
  They did not have the reservation for us. They did upgrade us to a full SUV from intermediate but we lost money to the extra gas. The vehicle was dirty, scratched, a not loaded with standard features.
  
  The staff was not professional, trained, or friendly. They did not explain there was a drop box behind the store for the return as well. It took them over 15 minutes to pull the car around and no other customers before or after us.
  
  The atmosphere is cheap and unwelcoming.
  
  The location is wrong if you book through a third party. That was fun driving around trying to find where they moved to. The small office they rent is off the I-215 but for most people renting it is very inconvenient to get to. You cannot park a vehicle overnight if you are looking to save miles on your own vehicle while you travel. We were just gone for the weekend and live 30 minutes away. Would have been nice to just leave our car there.
