Very nice staff. Professional and helpful to you and your pet.. We came in without a appointment with an urgent issue with our beloved pet. They jumped right in an took care of all our needs. They did it all with a smile and a fair price. I would highly recommend. Thank you Staff and Dr. Z.

The vet service itself was okay, but it felt like I had to ask a ton of questions to get any info. Vet visit felt rushed and quick.
My real issues are the lies from the front desk staff and exorbitant prices for basic care. On our first visit, we received a shot that required a follow up booster. I was told that the booster was already paid, would be a simple in-and-out, and did not require an appointment. I show up for the boosterand wait 41 minutes to be called back even after making an appointment because of other commitments (no one else is in the lobby). I also ask to have the dog's nails trimmed. The front desk staff replied that they do not cut nails and only grind them. I agree that is okay. My dog is seen and I go to the front desk to pay. The bill has a fee for the second booster, a $15 fee for cutting, and $17 fee for grinding.after I was told the booster was paid and they do not cut nails. That's more than double the national average for the shots and most vets cut for free during a checkup. When questioned, the desk staff said there was no vet visit fee for the second shot and they could not provide an explanation for the cutting fee.
Unfortunate that they are not concerned with retaining customers or reasonable prices because they have a convenient location.response / report this review -

Empathetic and caring staff. Lost our Egyptian Mau after recently moving here. We were treated with kindness and understanding even though they barely knew our Jimmy.

Brunswick Co Animal Hospital is friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, vet that is located in Brunswick Forest on Hwy 17. It's convenient for everyone living in the Leland, Towncreek, Winnabow, etc. areas. They are a very knowledgeable bunch who are always friendly, always helpful, and always treat your pet as if it were their own! Highly recommend the folks at Brunswick Forest Veterinary Hospital!

They were very empathetic and kind when I rushed in with my very sick/dying guinea pig. Dr. Z did his very best to help my little pet and to offer me comfort when she passed away. They have a wonderful team of caring individuals, and it shows.

Absolutely amazing! My small dog swallowed a foreign object and I called the vet immediately and they were able to see him right then, the staff was very understanding and nice, they operated on my dog Tucker and he was able to come home that evening. I highly recommend this vet hospital!!

I love this place. My beagle has been going to Dr Z since he was 8 weeks old and he is now almost 3. I can't say enough about the staff. They are all so great and understanding. I won't ever take my pet or future pets any where else.

Dr Z and his staff are great. They truly love your animals and care about their well being. I feel like i'm taking my dogs to a friend who cares, not just a doctor who forgets you when you walk out the door. You'll not find a better place.

I've had different pets over the years, but never have I felt so involved in what was going on with my pet. I know more about her health and why vets do things then I have ever known before. Its all because of Dr.Z and his staff. Great vet! I'd never let my pets go elsewhere.
