Quiet campground with good space between sites. Great sunsets. Island Grill and showers within walking distance.
Overall a nice place to camp. Cheap and nice. Very close to Salt Lake city (at least where I live). They have a picnic table (Pretty large to seat anywhere close to 8-10 folks. Good part is that this seating space as a roof on the top so that was nice. It does have a fire pit but I was given a written warning to light it with my own firewood. They said they didn't allow any wood fires in the pit, which to me was a big irony and a bummer. Any ways, if you have Canister fuels or Propane, that was permitted. This was a seasonal restriction though so please check before you go. I had charcoal with me so they allowed me to burn that thankfully.
The place is scenic. No trees around the place where you'd pitch your tent.
Good overall experience.
Very rustic. We had to put our tent on rocks because there was no grass. But the concrete slab with a table, fire pit and roof was nice.
I love Antelope Island! This campground is cheap and close to home.
Good lord, the gnats! Check the island website for when they hatch and come prepared!
Overall, great location and comfortable camp sites.
Peaceful with amazing views of the lake. Each campsite has a firepit, long bench under a shade structure as well as an additional square table. Very modern and clean. We picked campsite #19. #2 might have been my favorite but wasn't available. #13 was pretty amazing as well. Booking was wired. I don't think you can reserve in advance (?). We went to the campsite to see if we can select a site. No info there. After a couple of calls I realized we should drive back to the visitor center and talk to the woman at the counter. She had to call someone else who randomly assigned a number to us over the phone. We had already seen the campground and asked for a different number 😊 Bring bug spray 🤐
Wow what a nice Campground with concrete pads picnic table awning and fire pit. Beautiful views of the Great Salt Lake. Just a nice place to stay.
Amazing sunsets specially in the winters. Love the campground too.
the sites should be spaced farther apart.
Had a nice night camping here. It rained a little which kept the bugs down.
Go early spring or late fall - othewise the bugs are too much. Nice sunsets over the lake
