  Walk on courts - make sure you get there 10-15 mins before the hour.

  The view is not bad, indeed. The courts are fairly slow hard (old Aussie open-ish), but a bit clumpy and with cracks. You'll also need a permit. Positively, these can be booked online.

  I hate these courts. Crazy/rude attendants that waste your time. Crappy court conditions, loud surroundings. NYC is the worst place to play tennis. Uws and Central Park from now on for me

  Be sure to have a yearly tennis permit, pick up single hour permits at Paragon Sports, or order them online before coming to these courts from Spring-November. Otherwise you won't be playing at all
