Best tasting wines we have had so far on our weekend getaway in Loudon County. Loved the rose most. Relaxing setting surrounded by vineyards.
We hadn't been out to this winery in quite some time and decided to stop by while out in the area this weekend. There were only 4 wines on the tasting for $10 and it wasn't until we asked when paying that they offered to make up for it with another tasting of one of the wines on the menu. Nothing really stood out out to us, so we passed but the price was not worth their current selection. They are also understaffed for a nice Spring weekend.
Nice looking winery and grounds. Tasted 4 wines with a repeat for $10. A little expensive. Wines were not to my taste though. They only have red and I'm a red wine drinker, but they all tasted like cherry with a peppery, spicy finish. The pourer was nice and friendly, but a little dry and boring.
Lovely tasting room near Middleburg. If they have rosé in stock, buy as many bottles as they will let you. It sells out every year.
Only bummer: not dog-friendly
This is a beautiful, laid back winery with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have good wine to boot.
Tasty wines, but go for the exquisitely beautiful vineyard and tasting room. Contemporary and sheik.
Great Virginia red wines! The winery is designed so that you can see into all the rooms of the winery and learn about the whole process from the vine to your glass. Nice outdoor seating to relax with a glass of wine and lunch.
