Looking for covid-friendly activities outside I decided to visit Botanical for the first time. Lovely gardens and paths. Paid admission but a number of paths were closed off for Christmas decorating. Would have been nice if anyone had mentioned the park was halfway closed. Looks beautiful though.

Enjoyed the walk through lights. The volunteers that keep it going are amazing! Thank you for keeping this going. The carousel that grown people can ride was a nice touch!

For being there for the first time and seeing the illuminations, it was beautiful! We had a lot of fun and enjoyed all the beautiful lights while walking through. We hope to go back and do the drive portion.

Very beautiful botanical garden. A bit smaller from others I've been to and was quick to walk through. Unfortunately the butterfly house was closed. The virtual map didn't work well for our group so I used an image of the map from Google instead.

Great place to take a peaceful afternoon walk among the gorgeous flowers. The butterfly exhibit is one of a kind. With hundreds of species of butterflies. That they hatch every spring. The children’s garden is a place for imagination to run wild. The newest addition, a carousel that will take you back to your own childhood. The Botanical is always improving on what they have to offer.

I enjoy bringing my family into Botanica every year. Illuminations is so pretty and such a neat experience for the whole family. It is a must see for the whole family and it is nice as it runs so long so you have many opportunities to attend.

It was a very family friendly event. Well worth the money. I liked how they had warm areas set up for families to be able to stop and warm up. I would recommend it to anyone. It's was definitely a hit for the babies. They loved all of the lights.

Recently went to Botanica with my family for the illuminations. The set up is really pretty and it was good size. However, during this time it is super busy. Which yeah, not a big deal. But the sidewalks and walkways are VERY narrow. We all had to walk single file and were still being bumped into by oncoming traffic. This place isn't very good if you have a stroller or wheelchair because of the fact of the narrow sidewalks. Also, I thought that there would be more light shows where the lights move and music is played. This only happens in one area and it's not very spectacular. If you want my honest opinion, take your kids and family down streets of Wichita and Maize and you'll see better lights that your kids can enjoy more for FREE.

Beautiful setting and very nice staff. Great place for a tranquil retreat. Only negative is some areas are are wanting as far as maintenance. The annual holiday display, Illuminations, is amazing. It is definitely one of the gems of Wichita overall. Anytime of year is great but if you haven't seen Illuminations your missing out.

They have put a considerable amount of work to make this place beautiful. There are hundreds of varieties of plants and flowers. There’s a small butterfly house, but it was empty during our visit. Botanical also contains a Bird watching forest. Located in the middle of a densely populated area in Wichita, I was amazed by how quiet the surrounding was. It is a perfect location for enthusiastic photographers who wants to get some great macro and bird photography. They also have a spectacular light show during the holiday season. The workers are trying really hard to keep the place clean so please take only photos and leave only foot prints.

The gardens are well maintained and are attractive, even by a non-plant person. The children's story-time/craft-activities are well organized and led. Their holiday lights event is HUGE and a must-see. Indeed, the crowd for this display is almost to big to consider exposing pre-school children to.

Spectacular place to experience any time of the year. Of course, the Spring is off the hook here but the whole summer rocks too with all the perennials. Good prices and fair family policies make this a great day in Wichita.

This place is amazing with it's beautiful different gardens. The Children's Garden is especially nice where everyone can be a kid again! Peaceful seating areas to take in nature throughout the Garden everywhere.

Nestled in the heart of Wichita, a little taste of paradise. From over 27 themed gardens, awesome events, seasonal attractions and more this is by far one of my favorite places in town! Perfect for a little getaway with the family, yourself and even friends. Botanica has PLENTY going on! From education opportunities to special events, there's something for EVERYONE in the family. I'm happy Wichita has such a special treasure!

Great place to walk around, enjoy nature's, and take photos. You can bring in outside food and have a picnic. We took some pictures of my daughter with all the spring flowers. We also plan on taking Autumn family pictures here. The Christmas light display is also very fun to walk around. Will continue to visit.

Many wonderful exhibits within the multiple gardens. Go see thousands of tulips and other bulb flowers planted throughout the facility in Spring.

Botanica is home bsolutely stunning visual arrangements all through-out the year. Seasonal annuals, perrenials, and plants that you did not know existed will keep you in awe of God's creation. A visit here is sure to change your outlook on life.

Christmas lights are awesome! Lot to see and food and drink inside are reasonable. For $8 is definitely worth it. Just plan ahead and be ready to take the trolley or walk because parking is difficult.

We went to their Christmas event, Illuminations. We were a huge group and had to purchase tickets several times as stragglers showed up. The people running the ticket booths were so friendly and helpful! They helped guide group members to the leader and overall were pleasant and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure our group was all taken care of. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the light shows were fantastic. They had cocoa and cider and snacks to purchase, and even set up heat lamps in strategic places throughout the gardens. I will definitely be going to Illuminations every holiday season from now on!
